"We loved this restaurant when we used to holiday here. Now that we have lived here for some time, we have confirmed that this is one of the best and our favourite overall restaurant in the Port. The chef is clearly very talented. During Covid they have offered a delivery service to provide special dinners which have all been amazing. The tumbet for starters every time as it’s our absolute favourite on the island. The pork tonight was fantastic and the sea bass is outstanding. Thank you for all the special evenings :"

I come to the Port every year and enjoy having lunch with friends who live here. I’ve never been to La Vall before but joined a friend for the menu del dia . It was superb and fabulous value. Great venue, food and drink but best of all was the lovely service. A great lunch. Going back in Monday !!!! Can’t express how good it was.

This lunchtime menu has to be tried to be believed. Having read various reviews I felt suspicious that La Vall couldn't possibly live up to expectation. I enjoyed olives (bread was offered however I am gluten intolerant), tuna salad, grilled chicken with vegetables, coffee, wine and water for just 11 euros. Service was friendly and efficient, food was great and the restaurant was full of locals which speaks for itself. This is not the place for a special occasion treat but for a mid week lunch absolutely excellent.
