"Very accommodating!!! We hadn't booked, our mistake. However the owner was able to seat myself and the husband. The restaurant had a relaxing feel and the couple next to us, informed us they can't help but to return. We order a rib eye steak and a filet steak. Was not disappointed!!. Yes, you are cooking it yourself, but this is all part of the fun!!... The steak comes with Skin of chips, mushrooms, tomatoe, onions, salad and coleslaw. As you walk into the pub, you are drawn to a fridge full of homemade desserts! Option to eat in or take home. Of course we had eaten to much... so we had to have a take out, white chocolate, bailey's cheese cake and a lemon crush cheese cake oh my.... what a pleasure only glad I wasn't in the pub when eating... lots of oh's and ooh's going on when eating!!! When paying the bill, the owner offered us an apology because they had been 2 members of staff down in all honesty, we had not noticed and the staff had been so accommodating and happy to service, we'd not noticed. Thank you and we will be returning"

Had an amazing meal at the Grove. The staff were so accommodating welcoming. The steak was superb desserts to die for. Can't recommend this little gem enough.

Ate here this evening had the asian chicken strips and my wife had the Gluten Free Fish and Chips. Excellent quality food cooked to perfection. Had the two courses for £15 mid week option. Amazing choice of deserts. Had the Key lime pie, and my wife had the Gluten Free Honeycomb cheesecake. Good choice of options on the two course specials. Really good service would highly recommend. Another great evening at The Grove, delicious starters for 2, followed by one fillet steak on the rock and one cod and chips with mushy peas, all perfect! The puds came home to our fridge and will be our elevenses . Our thanks to Les and John WE WILL BE BACK! Vegetarian options: Not veggies our selves but there are options on the menu.
