"Food is very good and the woman that works there is amazing so friendly. but the man that answers the phones and works there is very very rude absolutely disgusted with the way he talks to you doesn’t let you finish what your saying doesn’t listen to what your saying I was asking about something on the menu and it’s clearly on their menu but he’s shouting at me saying it’s not on the menu when all I did was ask a question not a very nice man and I would suggest to them to keep the woman on the phones as she is very nice and helpful."

I placed an online order and the food arrived within the expected timeframe. The delivery driver was exceptionally friendly.

They accepted my order on Just Eat. The next notification said driver was on their way with my food. The next notification said my order had been cancelled. That's very poor from any company.

Went into restaurant at 16.50 to order a simple mealtime is19.10 still haven't arrived would have been quicker driving to Perth and back soso disappointed. Don't think I'll be back very slow service and very poor delivery service .

Ordered delivery. Only good thing was how long it took. Food was the poorest Indian we've had ever. Frozen processed chicken(what there was of it) in aloo curry. Sauce oily/greasy and tasteless. I ordered the set meal vindaloo Everest masala and a 12 munchies box. The curries were average, the vegetable pakoras were just okay, but the sauce was excellent. Unfortunately, the munchies box was disappointing - there were too many chips and not enough donner meat. The donner meat and chicken pakora were not good. However, the chili and garlic sauces that came with the munchies box were fantastic. It's a shame that the rest of the meal didn't live up to the sauces.

"Overall, we had a disappointing family meal at the local restaurant. We booked for a table of 12 for my mum's birthday. We were the only table when we arrived. Another table of 2 arrived during our main course. There was a friendly informal server when we arrived though I got the impression he was not a formal waiter as he did not know much about the menu. He also disappeared after a short time. After this time, we were served by one of the kitchen staff. Obviously, this led to inadequate and slow service. The meals were served very slowly. We had no option to order more drinks throughout the meal. Our main course plates were not taken away after we finished and after waiting for a while we decided just to leave and get deserts at home. Some comments about the food. We were told when we first arrived that there were no steaks. That reduced our options considerably. However, what surprised us was one of the diners at the other table was served a steak! We were told that they do not have tomato sauce. This is highly unusual for a restaurant that serves steak, burgers and chicken tenders with chips. One of our party member nipped down the road to a local shop and bought a bottle ketchup for the table. The food was okay but we felt it was very one dimensional. A lot of the dishes were served in a similar manner with the same dressings and toppings. The chips were a little greasy. I would have wished that our experience was better but unfortunately it wasn't so. I understand how difficult it must be for the restaurant trade just now and we try and support local businesses. However, we would still expecting decent service and food. I tried to message the restaurant in the first instance for a response but have not received any reply."

"The food was great, we arrived on a Sunday and decided to go with the Sunday roast with a choice of black or ha. I decided to try both and they were both delicious. We also ordered cocktails that weren't on the menu, the bartender was friendly and made them perfectly. The service from the staff was outstanding, they were very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and welcoming. My wife, daughter and I left very satisfied with full stomachs and smiles on our faces."

"Whenever our car needs servicing, we make the trip from Dundee to our local Kia dealer in Forfar. One of the benefits of this journey is the opportunity to explore different dining options while we wait for our car. During our most recent visit, we chose to dine at The Castle Club, a combination snooker club and restaurant. Upon entering the establishment, we were greeted with a staircase leading up to the first floor. At the top of the stairs, there were various doors leading to different areas, including the snooker room, toilets, and the restaurant. The restaurant had a charming decor and a welcoming ambiance. The staff promptly seated us at a spacious table and provided us with menus and took our drink order. We started with the smoked salmon starter, which arrived promptly and was delicious. For our main courses, I had the battered fish with chips, carrots, side salad, and braised red cabbage, while my husband opted for the seafood lasagna, which was packed with salmon, prawns, and white fish in a delightful white sauce. Both dishes were flavorful and beautifully presented. The staff were attentive and friendly, making our dining experience enjoyable. We were recommended to try the steak pie on our next visit, and we look forward to returning. I highly recommend dining at The Castle Club; you won't be disappointed."

"We've enjoyed a few lunches at Panzarotti on our travels to Forfar and it never disappoints. It's a lovely wee cafe/restaurant but they have adapted the front to have little heated huts so you can eat outside whatever the weather and also bring your dog! It's charming that each are named after a different area of Italy. We enjoyed a tasty pizza and fries, and a mushroom Panzarotti with delicious vegetable soup. All served promptly. The value for lunch was great, especially given prices across the board are going up. Staff are always pleasant and friendly. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!! We look forward to returning soon."

"This charming restaurant is a great find. The food is delicious and the staff is extremely attentive. I dined in for lunch and the price per person was between £20–30. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the Fish and Chips - it's a must-have dish!"
