"We recently had dinner at Hacker Pschorr Munchen, upon arrival we were shown upstairs to our table. We had a long wait before the waiter returned to take our drinks order. We asked for a menu in English which we got. About minutes...later the waiter returned to take our order. He had forgotten to get our drinks. We waited another minutes before one of us going to the toilet and asking where the drinks were. On the time of asking the drinks finally arrived. Our main course arrived, they had forgotten about our starters. I had ordered the Schnitzel, the coating wasn’t very crispy and the chips were swimming in fat. The staff were pleasant enough, but sadly the food was not up to a good enough standard and the wait was far too long."

If you're looking for typical German food, the sausages ad chicken were good. Big portions. Quite busy on a Sunday evening. Outdoor seating. Good service.

We have been here years ago and we had a verry good experience. We came back and the only thing to complain is the charge of for the water. Food is very good and very good in price. The snizel was and...also other main courses. Service is good, very nice waitress. I will go back.

Our group of sat outside in the sunshine for drinks in the afternoon, our lovely waiter Stefan who spoke good English was very good and helpful despite being very busy. Later some of us had food here, pork knuckle and dumpling, delish, melt in...the mouth with lovely crispy crackling. Highly recommended.

We dined here after reading TripAdvisor reviews. We sat upstairs, it was very cozy. We had the goulash and the spätzle, both were very nice. The spätzle was so comforting on a cold night. We finished off the meal with the apple strudel. It was...divine but if you don’t like cloves, this is not for you! Service was friendly. A really enjoyable meal for our last night in Hamburg.

I ate here on Saturday and Sunday night in early November Saturday the place was pretty full but able to find a seat for one. Sunday there was a bit more room, but looked like it was going to be busy. Service swift, polite and...an English menu. The Kellerbier is excellent. On Saturday I had a mixed meat dish, pork knuckle was very tasty and Sunday a selection of sausage. Both meals very good indeed and great value. Would eat here again.

We think we got ripped off. The waiter explained the bill to my husband and somehow charged his card 10 euros more than the original bill. It was strange that he tried to explain the items on the bill even through we had no questions about the bill. Then he added a sum by hand. It wasn't till we got back to our hotel that we realized the original bill was 10 euros less than what was charged to our card. The food is OK if you are into German food. Pay attention when you pay your bill though, especially if you are a non-German speaking tourist.

An authentic Bavarian bar in Hamburg. The food is very hearty and tasty. The beer is Bavarian Helles, which is great. I really enjoyed the experience of having lunch on a sunny afternoon. The service was quick, but more importantly, really friendly. Everyone received the...same excellent service as far as I could see. The server seemed genuinely interested in providing good service. I thought it was good value and it was very busy any other time I passed by. It is a great area to be based and this is one of the best places I visited round here.

We ate at Hacker-Pschorr two nights in a row because it is my friend’s favorite beer. My friend lives in Florida, USA. The first night we managed to get reservations at the last minute in a cozy room upstairs which by the way has a...secret door. Our waitress was Nina who we loved. The beer was outstanding the food was similarly great. We had such a good time we went back again. Nina wasn’t there but we had two other servers including Dennis who were just fine. We got the same table on the second floor and a repeat of our fun night one. Prost! And thanks for a fun mini break in Hamburg!
