"General We wanted to go to dinner with friends in the evening even fast and cheap and it was a very good decision to go to Greek Dionysos. Service The gentlemen were all very nice and fast. The only negative was that we were greeted with forehead wrinkling when we came to the restaurant without reservation and asked for a table. It was just 6:00 and almost all tables were free. And apparently there was no problem assigning us a free table, because we were allowed to sit right. So why the critical and unbelieving look at the beginning? The menu is quite confusing and definitely too big. There are too many courts, also many who are very similar, and therefore make the choice even more difficult. The food was super delicious and from the amount more than sufficient. Unfortunately, we even had to leave the rest because we didn't do everything. My friend had overcrowded gyros with fries and rice for 12.40 EUR. He ordered his salad, he would have been there otherwise. For me, that would be a little needy with the overcrowded gyro. But he tasted it. He has eaten this for the second time and says that this is the best tip for fans of meat and baked meat. I had Suflaki, these are 2 spits with very delicate pork, with fries, rice and salad to 11,80 EUR. The species Zaziki sauce has tasted itself to me, although I am always a bit skeptical and picky. She wasn't too strict, but not too lazy in taste. In addition, se does not provide large garlic stench in hindrance. That's great. Our friends had similar dishes at similar prices. Besides, the kids had ice cream to dessert. There is a large selection of ice cream, but if everyone has ordered their own dish, a dessert has no place. The ambience Generally typical Greek. But we were still sitting in a half-dark space at 6:00. Only when it was filled, more lights were switched on and the atmosphere was lifted somewhat. The main room looked much more beautiful when looking into it. We therefore recommend that you always reserve in advance and say that you want a table in the main room. Cleanliness All right. "First of all we have been coming to this restaurant for many years and know how good it has been. Unfortunately it seems that they have lost key staff and are no longer able to keep up with orders/service. We waited a long time for between courses and tables around us had incorrect food delivered. I cannot criticise the food however - that has always been excellent and still is. If they can sort out the service it will be perfect. I would happily recommend this restaurant and will be back next week myself."

"Zugegeben, ich war seit über 20 Jahren nicht mehr im "Kranz", obwohl ich mehrere Male im Monat durch Kenzingen fahre. Deswegen war es eher einem spontanen Entschluss statt längerer Planung zu verdanken, dass wir letzten Freitag einmal wieder dort waren.Das Gasthaus hat es geschafft, sich den Charme und vor allem große Teile der Inneneinrichtung aus der Zeit um die Wende 19./20. Jahrhundert zu bewahren. Fast erwartet man, in der Ecke am Stammtisch eine Handvoll Honoratioren, Zigarre paffend vor Ihren Bierkrügen sitzen zu sehen. Aber wir waren ja wegen des Essens hier....Die Speisekarte ist knapp gehalten, bietet die übliche Gasthausküche (Schnitzel und Co.), aber auch eine übersichtliches Auswahl jahreszeitlich angehauchter Gerichte, aktuell "Herbstmenü" genannt.Als kleinen Gruß aus der Küche gab es eine leckere Gemüse-Quiche, dazu frisches, knackiges Weissbrot und einfache Butter. Schnitzel/Pommes/Salat meiner Frau will ich hier nicht kommentieren, das war allem Anschein nach gut. Für mich gab es einen überraschenden, lauwarmen Pulpo-Salat mit Kartoffeln, den ich hier nicht erwartet hatte. Als Hauptgang kam dann ein gebratener (!) Eismeerkabeljau, auf den Punkt gegart, in einem leckeren Rieslingsösschen mit Kartoffeln und Gemüse.Die Weinkarte ist ebenso übersichtlich, vor allem regionales zu zivilen Preisen, mein Weissburgunder von Holub (aus dem Ort), den ich noch nicht kannte, ist in jedem Fall sehr zu empfehlen.Das Ganze war nicht billig, aber jeden Cent wert. Dazu der kernige und launige aber äussert aufmerksame und nette Service - wir werden bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal da gewesen sein."

"Wir wollten heute (Mittwoch) abends im TexMex etwas essen, haben es im Industriegebiet gut gefunden. Parkplätze waren genug frei, und drinnen auch 5-7 Tische frei. Ein großer Tisch und 2 kleine waren drinnen belegt. Wir haben uns raus gesetzt.Die Bedienung kam auf uns zu direkt mit der Frage ob wir was essen wollen, denn es sei voll und Essen dauert min 1h.Da wir Hunger hatten sind wir dann wieder gegangen. Schade, ich hatte mich darauf gefreut.Ich möchte nicht wissen wie lange man wartet wenn wirklich voll ist...Wir wären bestimmt geblieben, wenn wir die Info diplomatischer, z.b. Mit ein paar kostenlosen Nachos/Dip oder ähnlich rüber gebracht worden wäre. Hier ist noch Verbesserungspotential!"
