Half Man! Half Burger!

I have been a few times and really enjoyed. This time however 1) the burgers needed seasoning pretty bland 2) the SO cooked fries were quite difficult to eat as bordering on burnt 3)I too struggle with loud, punk music...... Will give another go though..

I would absolutely recommend The Halloumi fries which are delicious and great for sharing. I went with the Pickle of destiny which is currently their guest burger. It had a cheese crisp, beer pickles and double cheese. Drinks are also great if you like a locally sourced beer or ale.

The beef burgers are great, however the chips were not my favourite the spices just didn't fit well with the fires. A MAJOR plusse however is that have a vegan burger menu on the same size as the regular one and the offer vegan cheese fries and milkshakes which is very unusual to find in any burger restaurant these days!

So sad to see this place damaged as it is....tragic. I hope that the people of Eastbourne and surrounding districts will come back and get fully behind this place when it re-opens. It is a fresh, funky and happening place with good quality fresh food and a vibrant atmosphere. We certainly will be back a.s.a.p. Good luck with the repairs.

Went to Eastbourne the staff were awesome, casual decor with tasty food Ate TheBigCheese Burger less the lettuce it was juicy and moist with full of flavour The Beef Chilli cheese fries were great too but be prepared it’s filling They do have a vegan and veggie meal options plus some local beer too hmbm keep everyone happy : Definitely coming back

I popped in here with a friend who had recommended what a great choice. the restaurant was bright and cheery. The staff were very friendly and explained the menu with great enthusiasm . I had the smoke stack whilst my mate had the chilli gonzales with a side order of fries to share. Both burgers were cooked just right. We washed the burgers down with a couple of pints of Half Man Half brother american pale ale. A great night all round would highly recommend it

I went with my husband and two kids 3 and 7) on a Friday evening. The kids menu £5) was really good, and it included a juice, burger and chips and the burger was a good size, even for my very tall 7 year old who can eat an adult's portion on occasion. I had a vegetarian halloumi burger with chips and my husband had a naked lunch burger with chips, both of these were of high quality. We were all stuffed at the end of the meal and didn't have any room for dessert!

Tried on the off chance for a table on Fathers day and were luckily accommodated straight away. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Our order was taken and fairly swiftly 2 of the 3 burgers arrived. The other burger arrived after a few minutes but no sign our our chilli fries we ordered to share. In fact my husband had almost finished his burger when i went to chase up the fries. When they did arrive they were amazing and a huge portion for us to share. The burgers were lovely and fries to die for but the actual food service was a little poor. I feel that the burgers and fries should all be delivered at the same time. We also never got the water we ordered too. Great meal but service a little...

This was our second visit once again were not disappointed. We came back having visited previously (it did not take much persuasion) The menu is good and the venue has a pleasant ambiance. The staff are all friendly and seem to enjoy working there which sets it apart from certain chains. This isn’t cheap and I would say is comparable to the afore mentioned chains, the difference in my opinion is the quality and the feeling of it being cooked on a non industrial basis. You can see into the kitchen which is quite cool with quirky stuff on the walls.
