Half Way House - Menu

a very good local pub much improved since prior to the shutdown by new team that have a large kitchen bar service. a refresh can set good customer service better than average menu good cash. a visit worth it. a good mix of restaurant, lounge sports TV area. 5 stars

Yet again we visited the halfway house for a meal and drinks on Thursday night. This time just me and my son but normally 4 of us. I cannot emphasise enough the service the staff give you, it is always polite, courteous and more than...helpful. The food and drinks are always very nice and the atmosphere is extremely friendly. Thanks again.

Perhaps one of the best, if not the best, all round family pub in the Royton area. Good menu with something for all ages. Well priced and not too expensive. I personally had the mixed grill which was done exactly how i asked for and...when it came was not overfaced with a mountain of chips as you sometimes are, well proportioned and very tasty. Excellent friendly team in front of house. First choice if I am out.

My family and I had our first Christmas meal out at the Halfway House, our local. We supported the pub through lockdown and go in there regularly to eat. The management and staff are always so friendly and helpful. We have always had a nice...meal there. Yesterday the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming as always and we had a lovely meal with fantastic service. Thank you so much to the management and staff for making it such a wonderful experience. I haven't been here for years, so we thought on my oncles to try it. that was my daughter's birthday, she's not fussy where she goes. we came at 4.30 a.m.,quite a few enjoy the suns in the beer garden/terrace area, we enter the bar area,nice...decor, many sitting opportunities, we asked for a table of 5, no problem while others diner. one of the employees came by and brought menus that order our drinks. we have looked at the menu, many of the choice, although a jw lees, that is not a typical JWL menu. I went for the wut pudding, kunky chips mushy inherit, a jäger huh, a sausage maische, then two early bird fish chips, that is 5 o'clock ago. eating came in good time, they don't really notice...

Family meal out great service nice place we enjoyed our meal payed and left within an hour one Family member was being sick and continued to be sick for 9 hours he had the mix grill and was the only one that had the mix...grill in our party I rang the halfway house to inform them about this and said I didn't want any money back and I said I wasn't slandering them I just wanted them to know incase it had been something he had eaten from the mix grill the lady manager got on the defensive and was very rude and told me I was being rude I wasn't being rude at all she was the rude one and not very professional and certainly not good customer service hence I have wrote this review if she hadn't of...

I have lived locally to this pub for many many years and it has always been very hit and miss which has been a shame because it's a lovely pub. The owners now have really turned it around. It's always busy and having eaten there...quite regularly over the last few months, we haven't had a bad meal yet. The staff are super friendly and always accommodating. You can take dogs in too and eat in the front part of the pub which is great for us, he always gets given a little treat. The roast beef Sunday Lunch is amazing and really good value for money. the prices rose recently as expected, but not the quality. very average eating. 10.50 for average bageutte and chips. fish and chips are just 2 cheaper than the ivy that I did not kidnap! pretty poor of opportunity and have given these several going as it is...local and handy. the renter makes commentary to “ earn money”. He seems greedy and I have observed him as disastrous for some customers. my last meeting was very regrettable, while we were recording with 3 family members. it wasn't a quiznacht. a quiz leaf was pushed onto us. how beautiful they might think, but not followed in the thoughts of a delightful fun night! it seemed that the renter had his own rule that there will be silence...

since all restrictions have ended, this local device has gone from strength to strength. quiz always looked busy on a Wednesday night, busy Fridays, we always go for tee. eating is fantastic. try the sputpudding it is delicious. many of the choices on the...Menu, although I would personally like to see that it has changed again, otherwise it threatens to be the same age. vikki leads the restaurant, she is beautiful, the staff are all brilliant, by jack on the bar, top man, demi, which is very friendly and deserves to be staff of the month. it's the best pub in royton. from sport on tvs, to eat and a great place, just to catch up with friends, the halfy, as their lovingly known by the natives...
