Hampshire Arms - Piatti

As it says in the title. We were staying up the road at the Plume of Feathers but the Hampshire Arms pub gave a better service.

Probably the best roast lunch I’m have had in a long time. Delicious roast pork with fab veg will be back! Excellent puddings too!

We had a lovely drinks and dinner at this pub this evening. Food was very good but the guy behind the bar made the night, he was a great host and really made us feel welcome. We’ll definitely be back!

We stumbled upon the pub after a house viewing (pleased to say we bought it) wanted to check out the area. Lovely friendly staff and people in the pub, food was lovely and I am GF which was well catered for. The outdoor space was pretty and well kept! Heard a rumour the fish finger sarnie was boring but my husband seemed to enjoy his 100%

After a long journey and feeling very tired we were recommended The Hampshire Arms for a evening meal. We walked in and received a genuinely friendly reception from the landlord. The food appeared to cater for all tastes and the meals were served in a timely manner. The food was excellent my wife had Garlic Mushrooms followed by Steak and Ale Pie, I had calamari followed by steak. In every way this is a really good pub and well worth a visit. PS. I have heard for years about the exceptional food served at the Hampshire Arms. Yesterday, I had Sunday lunch there with a few family members. It was the best Sunday roast I have ever tasted. All the ingredients were fresh and home-cooked. The chef is amazing, every dish that came out of the kitchen was impeccable. The restaurant was nearly full of diners. It was worth every penny and the staff was attentive but not intrusive. I will definitely be returning for more delicious delights.

I went to this restaurant for lunch with a friend on a Friday. We didn't have a reservation and initially didn't like our seating arrangement (my friend was having trouble getting comfortable after a new hip surgery). However, our server, Ashlie, was very accommodating and moved us to a different table. We both enjoyed a three-course meal and found the food to be excellent. The service was also top-notch. Overall, we couldn't find any faults with the place. I highly recommend it for a visit.

My family of 6 adults recently had our first experience at Hampshire Arms. I had read excellent reviews and was hopeful that the roast dinner would not disappoint. We have tried many roasts in different places but none have compared to a home cooked meal, until now. This was hands down the best roast I have ever had. The meat, either beef or pork, was cooked to perfection. The crackling was delicious, roast potatoes crispy, and vegetables were perfectly cooked. The gravy was also scrumptious. I cannot recommend this place enough. The staff were friendly and efficient. We will definitely be returning. Delicious. Visualizza piatti
