"When we arrived our lovely server Justin asked if we would be ok sitting on swings seats, to which our reply was an obvious yes and proceeded the most fun meal. Now, disappointingly, the swings are attached to the floor so you can only swing a certain distance (though my partner’s swing was not attached), but there were surprisingly comfortable for the length of the meal, it was only because we decided to have extra drinks that my butt then became a bit numb. We could have sat at the bar instead for our extra drinks but we were enjoying ourselves on the swings too much. I loved the quirky style of the decor inside, wooden tables with booths, benches, stools or swings to sit on, real cut silver birch trees, industrial style lighting hanging from the black ceiling. Justin our server was very helpful at translating the menu for us and helping me pick out a bunless burger for my gluten intolerant belly and I was not disappointed. I had an avocado cheese beef burger with salad and sweet potato fries; the salad dressing was delicious, the burger was well cooked and seasoned, not greasy or fatty, I enjoyed ever last bite of the entire meal. Afterwards I have a lovely Forest Fruits tea recommended by Justin. The atmosphere in there is very relaxed, the food is delicious and the staff are super friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend a visit."

3 vegan burgers... We tried all 3 over 2 visits. Definitely recommend. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and proper food

Im Hans im Glück gibt es 4 vegane Burger. Zwei dieser Burger haben wir probiert und sie sind einfach bombastisch. Und die Soßen... Und die Pommes .

The staff was great and everything was clean. I suggest it to everyone who plans to go go Heidelberg to eat at this place. The burgers were juicy and tasty.

Gut für einen Abend mit gemischten Freundeskreis. Es gibt Fleisch bis vegan. Die Soßen sind alle vegan, sehr lecker. Auch die Getränke sind gut. Etwas teurer, aber noch ok.

The restaurant is pretty small, but the staff was very kind and helpful with the menu. We ordered the classic burger with beef and the vegan Kutscher Burger. Both were delicious. Unfortunately, the waitress was not allowed to tell me what was in the Kutscher pattie. You can not taste what the base is, but they stated it is a company Secret. This makes me feel very uncomfortable, because I want to know what I eat and now I doubt it is vegan....

As good as any long-term vegan probably comes to the point where Burger and Fritten can't be seen anymore, as in as good as any restaurant that offers herbal alternatives to provide more than enough. Therefore, a restaurant chain like Hans in Glück can no longer necessarily tear me off the stool, but it is a safe starting point in every larger city to be able to eat well if you find nothing else on the quick.
