Traditional German dishes but with fresh ingredients and some twists, like mushrooms in the trout. I opted for a Wienerschnitzel, which was very satisfying. Good selection of wines and beers.

We booked a table shortly beforehand via opentable as there are currently less tables available. Greeted friendly, menu selection not big but good. Food was really really good, vine too. Pricy but its a little fancy place and for a special treat worthy. Steak excellent.

Loved the tasty variety of dishes offered, where you can taste the real German cuisine. Sat inside to have coffee and then sat outside for lunch. Enjoyable time and atmosphere as you sit just at the bridge entrance surrounded by all the tourists and hotels....Recommended

Forunately they also have a salad, but courses are very German. By the way there exist a lot of nice German dishes. We had a number of the different traditional ones, duck, pork, steak All well prepared and tasty. Super service, even on this...crowdy day. Remember to book a table!

We eat hear on Saturday without a reservation with luck got the last table , TIP book for the weekend . supper restaurant frendy staff and great German food I would recommend this restaurant its well worth it. all the food that came out of...the kitchen looked to die for , give it a try.

My friend ordered the food for me 5 minutes before kitchen closed, I was late due to Deutsche Bahn had a delay for 1 hour. I was starving when I arrived here, but nothing is provided after we asked the waiters again, not even a...piece of bread. I am very disappointed and I am force to go the restaurant nextdoor and I need to go back to my freinds again to have drinks Here.

Despite the many positive reviews, this restaurant had somehow escaped my radar; we ate here only because our hotel desk clerk recommended it and booked it for us, and we are so glad she did. This turned out to be one of the most enjoyable...dinners of our two-week vacation. Service was informal but professional, and the food and wines were wonderful. If you are here when meals are being served outdoors, ask for the private courtyard when reserving. It is a wonderful and secluded area that make for a great dining setting, yet this is just steps away from the Old Bridge. Highly recommended.

We were here on a Monday evening. The restaurant was rather full when we arrived. We ordered fish (trout). The taste was certainly good. Until then the service was ok , but then the waiting started. It took a while before they came to take...the empty dishes. I was then waiting for the desert menu , but no one showed up. After a while they noticed I was trying to get their attention. They were very busy doing the dishes and cleaning the bar to close (although there were still plenty of people in the restaurant). After a while we got our desert and then again I had to try to get their attention to get the bill. I indicated that I wanted to pay by card. They brought the bill and again nothing...

We made a reservation for four and were greeted very unfriendly by the Chef who loudly complained that one person in our party had fallen ill. That made me want to turn around at the door. When we were seated the waitress made my dinner...companions get up again and take their coats to the hangers. Then she tried to get me to take my umbrella to yet another place. The escargot were in an unusual presentation but tasted nicely. The salmon tartar was outstanding. We ordered schnitzel, rouladen, and a piece of pork in a cream sauce.
