"To be honest the food was good and so was the service. The one thing that let it down was my our table was in the middle of two other tables and the people knew each other. As you can emagin they was talking rather loudly. They both had children running back and forth so for us that spoilt it. I hoped for a quiet birthday dinner with my husband and two sons who are adults. Chaos is one word to discribe it. On the way out we spotted an area where diners were eating and it would have been ideal. I left with a bad headache. I'm not anti children I have 4 of my own which are all adults now so don't want to be sitting with screaming children and adults talking loudly to each other. Not too sure if il be returning."

Was a loverly experience the waitress was so sweet and caring her name is Emily I believe the drinks was cold which was perfect for the hot weather!

Excellent service, we had a table booked for inside, asked if we could sit outside. They cleared the area really quickly so we were able to be seated. Great evening!

Staff were really welcoming,. My waiter was very helpful and was very polite Food was amazing, hot and fresh. Afters was very filling and delicious. Will definitely be going back.

The food was good and excellent service however the whole decor inside and outside of the restaurant is run down and in poor state of repair. Also the menus were not clean and covered in grease and finger prints.

My wife ,7 year old son and myself visited for Sunday lunch . we where seated early and looked after in extremely friendly and polite way The food was of a very high standard with a large mouthwatering choice. The only issue we had was what to pick. Could not fault it Would recommend to anyone

Seemed understaffed on the day, but with the added burden of staff having to serve you at the salad bar?? Food was a nice surprise, better than previous visits. I have a hearing impairment, and sitting under a speaker playing slightly noisier than I was comfortable with music, was slightly irritating, but I rolled with it due to the obvious pressure on staff.

It was on the day of my 70th birthday first time we have been to a restaurant since Christmas 2019 so didn't really know what to expect the staff were charming happy and enthusiastic which really helped to make a low key celebration really good have used the five bells quite often in past never had a problem with them wish them all the luck in these strange times.

Me and my partner had the half chicken rotisserie. The portion size was ridiculously small. To give some indication I bought a small whole chicken from M&S for £3 the week before and half the chicken was about twice the size we were served up at the Harvester. The chips were also very salty having been smothered in sage and onion seasoning. The sweetcorn was overcooked. All in all extremely poor value for money. I won’t be in any hurry to return.

Had friends visiting and went for dinner on last night. Starters great. Steaks not cooked as requested. Wrong sides. My dinner did not arrive. Arrived after 15 mins completely wrong dish not as requested. Steak raw. Empty glasses not removed from table. Waitress was lovely albeit at fault for missing dinner. The chef should be sacked. Two other tables also complained about food. I don't think we should have paid anything for our orders. Complete disaster of an evening with friends.
