"It was a rainy St Patrick's Saturday, but my partner and I decided to just head out for a walk along the Limmat River, rather than sit around in our flat. We'd walked by Helvti Diner the day before on our way to a wedding, so we decided to try it since it's time for lunch.Ordering is pretty simple here. You pick your choice of burger and choose the size (single or double quarter-pounder,) then select your favourite toppings (charges apply) and choose a homemade sauce. Drinks and side orders are made separately, and then you wait for the kitchen to whip up the magic. I have to say we were glad to be there on a Saturday. I can well imagine the place to be crowded on a random weekday, given it's smack in the middle of downtown Zurich. I have also learned to tone down my Singaporean habit of getting impatient with remotely slow food orders, so I was pleasantly surprised that Helvti didn't take long at all to dish up my order. Ah. that's when I set sight on my gorgeous Swiss Premium Quarter Pounder with Alpine Cheese and Bacon and the cute little jar of Homemade Honey Mustard on the side. looks so good. taste uber awesome! My man had their Classic Angus Beef Quarter Pounder. I took a bite and it's equally good. There's also a choice of Wagyu burger if you prefer.Overall experience: Attentive staff service SERIOUSLY good food! Oh and you also get your own mini jar of sauce to take home for CHF2.50 so yes, we will be spreading a good word and we will return!"

The food is nice but overpriced - there are other burger restaurants in Zurich who have better burgers at a fairer price. The service is really slow and won't ask you for a second drink or dessert. It took us 20 mins to even spot her for asking the bill.

I like this place because it's a normal place, a place for burgers and because burgers are good; and in my case the VEGGIE burger was good. Service is great and friendly and menu is straight forward..it's a burger place, fries and a few other stuff. Been there 2 times in the last 6 months. And well located.Price for 2 people 50.- with drinks.

We were in a hurry and interested in a quick bite to eat and found this place as we were leaving our parking garage (no kidding.) The waitress was friendly, and the food was good. I had the burger and my wife and the chicken sandwich. There is no ambiance, no view, but good food and the service was great. Oh, and the prices were pretty good considering it's Zurich. So this was my 3rd visit in the Helvti Diner, and after enjoying burgers the first two visits, I decided to try the Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich. Bad decision. Whatever I was served, it looked nothing like a cheesesteak, it tasted nothing like a cheesesteak. So the verdict is clear: This place is only for burgers, nothing else. Those are great. Probably the best burgers in Zurich.Everything else is fine: Service was very friendly and fast. The place is nice and clean. It looks and feels like an american diner (at least from the inside.)

Right, went first time for dinner and had the chicken sandwich with extra egg, fries and as desert I choose the muffin with Ice cream.How was it?So the staff was friendly tho a little slow, they been talking a lot rather than checking the few tables that where used. Not impressed.The food, well the chicken was way to dry but apart from that it was ok. There are a few other places where you get real good sandwiches. The burger my friend had looked good and she said it was nice, but nothing special.The small portion fires was enough so in terms of size it was good proportioned.
