Lovely setting (the shop with it is excellent) and food is good but service is slow and not terribly friendly. If weather is good, great outside space and child friendly

My friend has chosen that place to meet as I was travelling from Winchester. And it was a surprise. You enter the cafe through the gift and card shop. The choice is of really high quality , affordable prices and unusual. The café is decorated...with modern furniture and comfortable cushions. We both started chatting over 2 warm chocolates while the rain was pouring outside. Highly recommended.

recently renovated with seating in the garden, this coffee shop is the spot of choice for those who want a good cup coffee with a snack or cake. spoken for the choice with delicious scenes, homemade cakes and hearty specialties this is the place to be in thornbury’s high street. comfortable sitting and a beautiful atmosphere is the perfect place for a meeting or a conversation with friends. well done tabby, I look forward to my return.

Lush gifts at a reasonable range of prices with a bright cafe serving delicious treats, food and refreshments at the rear. In summer warm weather the...outside seating and setting is lovely. lunch drinks with family and friends. beautiful back garden area, benches and tables with sun umbrellas. disappoint limited lunch menu, so decided for the best we could with coronation chicken sandwich. at £6.50 expects something more than we got. a broth roll with 3 slices...of (from a package) chicken breast, doll of coronation dressing, salat leaf and some mango chutney. very underwhelming! no halat, no chips (these articles were not listed as included, so I think we should not be shocked). only the filled roll on a plate. the child's meal was 6 pfunds for dipping plates. this was a few (perhaps 12) carrot sticks, gurke, pfeffer and about table spoon humble. bad, bad presentation. togethe...

Went here just after 12pm for a bowl of soup. You'd think that would be fairly straightforward, wouldn't you? In fact it was some 20 minutes before we actually had our soup. This was after 10 minutes queuing (despite there being only 4 people in...the queue) and nearly 10 minutes waiting for the soup. Even then I had to waylay the member of staff with it, as she was heading for the other part of the cafe. In the meantime tables were not being cleared and people were having to pile up dirty crockery at the side. Ordered toasted sandwiches and coffee. Requested the cafetière hoping for two cups rather than an Americano. At the counter the server smiled politely and took order but the other member of staff making coffee looked they wanted to be anywhere else but there. Drank first...cup of coffee a bit bitter but thought it was just the brand of coffee but decided to open up cafetière and found the plunger was filthy. These needs cleaning on each use to prevent old coffee grinds hanging around affecting taste of next brew. As we were leaving member of staff cleared table so I pointed it out.
