Hexagone - Menu

Food was average. The service was very poor. They even not remembered which dish for which customer. Between starter and main course took 1.30 hour to be served. We was very tired and did not even want to go for dessert. Not worth michalin star attached with the name. Terrible experience! not recommended at all

Hexagone gets it from the moment you walk into the door. The staff were terrific and the food was really exceptional. So good we ate there twice while in France. It is pricey but worth it. The wine list is extensive and also very pricey. They have a price fixe menu if so desired. So if you want a special evening with a special business associate or that someone special, I would highly recommend Hexagone.

I was there in late January. Perhaps due to low season, the restaurant was completely empty and thus had no atmosphere. The service was excellent, but the food left something to be desired. I had the weekend set brunch menu (59E per person) and can say I've had better meals for far less. As something branded as a Michelin stared establishment, I was expecting more of an "experience." I will likely forget about this dining experience shortly.

We were looking for a fine restaurante for dinner yesterday, for our surprise de Concierge of the Hotel told us about the restaurant Hexagone and find us a table. First of all the guy who served our table was so nice and kind enough to talk about everything we were experiencing. We ask for the eight curse menu, it was delightful, specially the Langoustine ! Best Langoustine ever... flavor were such a party, we never expected that much ! Love the food !

Blown away by the creative and distinctive designs of the dishes. I had sole, expected a typical flat piece of fish, but Hexagone surprised me with a sole brick! It's one of its kind. My wife and daughter also went away happy. The starter of "fresh nut" was in form of cream. Madame gave a thumb up only after 1 spoonful of it. Hexagone impressed the little one with a mango dessert on the house. Oh, they have a massive wine list too. It took me a while to scan through what they have!I could genuinely say that the chef put in lots of thoughts into his foods. A star well deserved.

It was a weekend where most of Michelin restaurants are closed, we found this restaurant available for booking and is open for brunch. We were happy with the food, the croissants were amazing delicious. The main course was actually quite with four mini courses combined as a whole, each of them taste great, we love every dish. Chocolate soufflé might be the best I have ever tried so far, I wasn't a fan of soufflé but what offered was really impressive. Decoration of the restaurant was quite modern, and the service is easy and pleasant, my friend and I had a wonderful time there.

Today was the last day of a week-long visit to Paris and enjoying lunch at this restaurant was definitely the highlight of our trip! What a culinary adventure! There were so many different and unique dishes...each one more delicious than the last! I read some of the reviews that complained about slow service, but I think that is just the French way of experiencing a meal. It isn't rushed. We found our servers to be very helpful with explaining the menu, they were always quick to fill a water glass, bring extra bread and generally first rate in all aspects of serving our meal. This is a recently renovated elegantly decorated classy restaurant. The food in general is lighter and closer to nouvelle cuisine but a few meat dishes are somewhat classical. The wine list is exceptional in quality but expensive in general relative to other similar restaurants. Several the amuse bouches and dishes were exceptional. For the early summer an amuse with a mouse-foam like carrot flavored center piece floated off the plate and was amazing. It was accompanied by a delicately flavored carrot soup. Sunday lunch took us this time in Paris' Hexagone, restaurant of the son of famed chef of L'Ambroisie. For a strange reason this Michelin starred restaurant does brunches on Sunday, which seemed a bit off to us but let's park that point, but we had the set menu. Be aware that in normal times, you would need to take the brunch on Sunday, us having a set menu was actually a booking error on the website and the honoured the lunch.On the food side, all was very nice at globally at level with expectations: from starter to main to dessert, it is definitely worth a star for the food.
