Disappointed to be honest. Pilau Rice is always separated, light and fluffy. This had a great many lumps stuck together and was claggy, just kept throwing lumps into the bin as they wouldn't separate. The Chicken Tikka Masala sauce looked thick and nice and tasted nice at first but went like water pretty quickly. Wouldn't use again and quite expensive for 2 portions at almost £40. Ordered a takeaway, £23, on a Monday evening. Took an hour and 25 minutes to arrive, and when it did it was cold, curry looked awful, and tasted of nothing, naan wasn’t cooked properly so very stodgy, and fries were cold and hard. Not sure what’s going on with this place? We ate in the restaurant a couple of years ago and it was wonderful. Something has gone very wrong. Ubereats refunded me half the cost after I complained. Used heybridge tandoori twice recently, while the guy was taking my order over the phone, he disappeared to shout at someone in the back ground for a few mins, I should have took this as a sign to hang up , this actually happened thr first time aswell He returns to say yeh what you want... anyway 45min later it arrives, tasteless, watery and hardly any meat in the korma and onion bhaji was greasy and burnt in places Wasn't worth the £24 for a Korma , rice , starter and a bhaji Service: Delivery Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Food: 2 Service: 1

I was taken here by my children for a lovely meal. Fantastic selection of food on the menu, friendly staff and very reasonably priced. The onion bhaji's were enormous and very tasty. I had lamb tikka dopiaza and a keema naan plus I tried the butter chicken and chicken tikka masala all of which were excellent. Parking: In front of the co-op with 2hour limit. Kid-friendliness: Family orientated. Had a delivered ‘meal’ for one. Order was short but only by a salad dish so didn’t make a fuss. It was 28.50 plus a driver tip. The food was disgusting. I honestly can’t understand how it could be so bad. I cook curry from scratch at home 3/4 times a week and treat myself to a BIR curry when working away. I couldn’t make anything this bad if I tried! Truly horrendous! Never again! This is my second and last order from HT. The first contained a rotten king prawn but I thought I would give them a second chance. Big mistake!
