It was my first time here and Im sure this is not the last. A restaurant that know how the food very well. Try the reshmi kabab starter and lamb bhuna. You can only praise such good food !

We were very happy with the chicken tikka masala and lamb korma that we had at this restaurant. They were both well prepared and the service was prompt and polite. The environment was a little bare and functional

Visited it a couple of times and the chicken tikka masala and the chicken chitnadu are excellent. The service it's great and the prices are very reasonable. Very delicious and great atmosphere. I definitely recommend this Indian restaurant.

I’ve been to many Indian restaurants in Vienna and this is by far one of the best I’ve been to. The curries were spectacular, the garlic naan crunchy yet still soft and the rice was a good alternative to the boring rice you get at...so many restaurants. Definitely recommendable!

Arrivés à l’hôtel Best Western à côté vers 22h, la réception nous a conseillé ce resto. En ce lundi soir, nous étions seuls mais très bien accueillis. Plats typiques, assaisonnement plus ou moins piquant sur demande, délicieux.. A recommander pour ceux qui aiment ce genre de cuisine...

The atmosphere was adequate, if a bit bland. The food, however, left much to be desired. The Chicken Tikka Massala was dry, lacking enough sauce to make it worthwhile. The Beef Vindaloo had enough sauce, but the beef pieces were stringy and of inferior quality, not deserving of the name. Naan was OK and the rice was well cooked. We expected more, judging by the previous reviews here...

Gerne besuchen wir das Satraj, ob Mittags oder Abends, noch nie wurden wir enttäuscht. Das Essen ist vorzüglich, die Auswahl der Speisen umfangreich, sodass jeder fündig wird. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, besonderes auch zu Kindern. Ein Lächeln ist Programm im Satraj. Alles in allem serviert das Satraj wohl die besten indischen Gerichte Wiens. Ein Besuch zahlt sich auf alle Fälle aus.

Wir waren zum Abendessen am frühen Abend im Satraj und haben gleich einen Tisch bekommen. Das Restaurant war etwa zur Hälfte voll. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und recht schnell. Die Speisenkarte entspricht den Erwartungen, die man an ein indisches Speiselokal hat. Die Mango Lassi ist sehr zu empfehlen, das Garlic Naan war etwas fettig. Die übrigen Gerichte waren reichlich portioniert und schmackhaft, insgesamt aber immer etwas auf der fetten Seite, deshalb nur vier Punkte. Das Ambiente ist etwas kühl gehalten, passt aber zu einem indischen Restaurant. Insgesamt also durchaus eine Empfehlung

On our last night in Vienna we opted for something non-schnitzel. This restaurant brought back memories from our honeymoon trip to India. The Indian-themed decoration was nice, and the food was great. Unfortunately, due in part to the excellent large mango lassi I ordered, I wasn't able to finish my dish, and didn't even have room for dessert, so I can't comment on the dessert. We had butter chicken (deemed by a picky eater to be the best she'd ever eaten - she contemplated ordering another but finally decided she was too full), shrimps with tomatoes etc. that even the little one, who didn't want to taste the rest of the food due to visible spices, really liked, tomato soup which is the midd...
