Great atmosphere very friendly staff and happy to assist with dietary requirements. Food came out hot and was very tasty. Will definitely be back very soon best thing I didn't need to leave the fur baby at home

Went to the anchor for a meal with friends .was disappointed. Food arrived no knives and forks .Order 3 Sunday roasts very small portions .payed extra for pigs in blanket only got one .other person order burger and chips had to send it back as was cold .

We had been travelling for 3 hours visiting family over Christmas and just needed to stop for a drink and a stretch. We ended up in The Anchor and what a lovely, friendly, warm pub it is. We hadn't intended to eat but it smelled so good, and tasted good too. Thank you for an unexpected lovely afternoon.

This is a true pub with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff and owner greeted us warmly, making us feel like old friends. I have been searching for a pub where the staff don't just serve beer, but actually engage in conversation with customers for 2 years. Many pubs have young, shy staff who are afraid to communicate with guests. This can be an issue for a business that relies on repeat customers. The Anchor has found the right balance, and I highly recommend attending the quiz night on Thursdays.

Located on the outskirts of Bedford, The Anchor is a quaint little pub that is conveniently close to the hotel where I was staying. I visited on a Wednesday evening and found that it was fairly quiet, as they do not have Sky for showing football matches and do not serve food. Despite this, the landlord was friendly and the beer was good. The pub also offers a pool table and darts for entertainment. Although I wouldn't make a special trip to visit The Anchor, I would definitely return if I was in the area again. Visualizza piatti
