Ilyssia - Menu

A nice surprise to discover this fine restaurant. Very very good fish and tapas. You can feel the chef talent in the way to cook octopus, scampi etc ...The service was also great and very nice wine list.

the perfect atmosphere to celebrate my birthday with my friend. ilyssia is a cozy restaurant that they do not expect in kassel. the courts are simple but with character. the wine list is interesting and diverse. the personal is friendly and warm. what else? just try it!

Restaurant with very good greek food as one does not expect in Germany. Friendly staff. Our recommandation is fish (seems to be as fresh as if the Mediterranian See is just around the corner). Very good wine (also white wines) and all that for reasonable...price. Lovely atmosphere.

this restaurant is more European than Greek, very few adapted Greek decisions, but more pasta etc. eating was very nice with good selection of weeping and staff were very friendly. the best is the opposite where this restaurant is located in the old town with...an amazing old buildings.

this rest has a very nice atmosphere and good was good, service was also good. we sat on half the outside, where the roof rolls all the way back and it was a warm sunny day. I had to ask different...waitresses before they would roll one of the shades on the front, because I just couldn't see and the sun was hot. (you forget, you say we're sorry, we can't do it, was the charm). that upset me. apart from that, eating was good, but it was really not Greek except the “zaziki”. it was full. book them in advance.

I am an international traveler who grew up in Kassel and since years I visit Ilyssia with my family every time I am in Kassel. My last visit was in November and I even went days in a row to have dinner with my...family. The service is spectacular, not stiff like in a star Michelin restaurant but like the team love what they do and try to accommodate the needs of the guest whenever possible, the philosophy seems to be Yes is the answer, what is the question The food is second to none, no matter what I ordered, to was delicious.

I traveled cross the country and I have to work for two days in Kassel near the train station I discovered this restaurant and surprise me with hospitality and the food! I have for starter one small greece in my plate with a variation from...all the best and I must order one more wine from his giant Cava For main I choose lamb racks perfectly grilled and finished with fresh herbs was amazing After this I want to give stars but this is not possible because the TripAdvisor And for the waitress I fall in love so sweet everyone !!!

the restaurant is very nicely located, something outside the center of kassel, the service was a little confusing, even if art, wine list could be improved, but with some interesting especially from Greece. the only real mistake was eating while booking I...as if there are options for vegetarian and she wrote to us yes, in the round we could only start eating because all main dishes included meat or fish, honestly, eating was good, although obviously little varied, but if we knew before that we had just served for dinner we decided to have another place.

A local friend recommended this place to our group and I am so glad we tried it! There is no English menu and the servers do not all speak English, but with translation apps on our phones we did just fine. The food seemed fresh...and authentically Greek. It was delicious and worth the effort of ordering! This is a space that is better for small groups, up to people comfortably. I would feel comfortable eating here whether I were dressed for a special occasion, business attire, or in jeans and a nice shirt. I was easily able to eat gluten-free (though I'm not as sensitive as others).
