"Die schlechten Kritiken kann ich gar nicht nachvollziehen. Ich habe schon mehrmals im Restaurant Imbiss Orient gegessen und wurde nie enttäuscht. Das kleine Lokal hat zwar Imbiss-Charakter, ist aber sehr gemütlich und sauber. Ich war letztes Mal nur wegen dem Essen in Olten. Es gab ein Mittags-Buffett und das meiste Essen war vegan. Nur ein Dipp war mit Joghurt und zwei Gerichte mit Fleisch, ansonsten konnte ich alles essen. Ich bin extra vor dem Mittagsansturm gekommen und hatte mein eigenes Take Away Geschirr dabei. Der nette Herr hat mir erklärt, was vegan ist und mir beim aussuchen und befüllen geholfen. Das Essen ist immer frisch, typisch orientalisch und mega lecker. Positiv finde ich auch, dass die Warmhalte-Behälter nicht überladen waren. Ich schätze es immer, wenn keine Lebensmittel verschwendet werden. Ich hatte Falaffel, Humus, gegrilltes Gemüse, Reis, Bulgur, Fladenbrot, Gemüse in Sosse, Kartoffeln, Spinat, Salat und Baklava. Eine gefüllte Teigtasche hat mir der junge Mann extra noch warm gemacht. Für 18 CHF war ich nicht nur satt, sondern hatte sogar noch Reste. Am liebsten würde ich 5 Sterne geben!"

We dropped by spontaneously for a quick lunch. The place looks put together quickly, it seems like a family business. There's a small buffet with delicious food, most of it was vegan as per the owner who was very friendly.

A few vegan options are offered, but apart from the vegan plate, nothing is labeled on the menu. While the accompanying dips taste good, the plate itself is a dull pile of bland, deep fried items, with some of them still cold or frozen in the center. Additionally, one item contained cheese. For CHF 49. we got a big dissapointment. Not recommended.

Don’t hesitate to go there. I really appreciated the food, taste, quality, flavor and spices. Nice Arabic-middle eastern cuisine. You can find almost find every thing: salads, manaqish, falafel, rice, meat, side dis he’s, main courses, dessert. The atmosphere is nice, the personnel is kind and friendly. Sie waren sehr nett mit uns. Wir haben 2 kindern mitgebracht und sie haben ein Baby stühl für das Baby mitgebracht und die 2 kleinen haben kein mittagsessen bezahlt und sie haben ein bisschen gegessen. Das Essen ist meinstens Frisch und die Aubergine, die Paprika und die yogurt creme waren die beste sachen von Buffet. Der mitarbeiter ist nett und freundlich. Shwarma is my favorite meal for example (the chicken has no flavor on it , the bread was so soft quickly breaks in halb when i tried to hold it. and seriously it was a mess and he doesn't do humus and toum on it tasted weird too) do but The food was ok not like i was wanted i served and i told i need more saure garlic he just do for me only 2 pieces and the salad has no taste at all so salt on it and on the table was not black prefer and salt and the owner was weird too.The music was low too. It was expensive 57 chf too for nothing. I think i won't come back again there.
