Friendly service. Good choice of food. Decided to visit instead of eating at our hotel (GoUrban). Glad we did as good value for money, great quality food.

Excellent service, great choice on menus and delicious food. Upmarket interior with comfortable layout in cozy restaurant. Was a pleasant dining experience.

Went here tonight for a anniversary dinner. 3 adults 1 child. Got deal on 5pm. £6.95 for a two course meal. Fantastic for the money. Used to go here years ago. Moved away forgot all about the place. Well it has changed names as it used to be called the punjaba. Food was great as i remember as far as i know its still the same chiefs. Mixed pakora starters chicken chat etc. Lamb bhoona korma masla lots to choice from. Would highly recommend anyone to try. Either for a celebration or just a bit to eat.

Visited here on Christmas Eve, had been in it many years ago when it was called I think the Punjabi. We had a platter for 2 between the 3 of us, they also brought poppadoms and spicy onions for a free taster, we had 2 chicken and one lamb dish, and the peshwari nan was amazing. Would definitely go back, but probably for a takeaway.Maybe because it was only 630pm.We were the only people there, although by the time we l ft there was another two tables taken.Felt there was no atmosphere but couldn't fault the food, well worth. We found this place on a Google search. Almost walked by because it is almost hidden. Find it for a delicious meal. Our only disappointment was that the menu had dosas and they were not available. We had a spicy and uniquely delicious okra dish. The okra was cut into small slices in a delicious and spicy sauce. We also had the vegetarian curry that was also tasty. One serving of garlic Naan was great for two of us, buttery and garlicky. A small side of raita to cool the palate. The server was friendly and the food came quickly and was very hot. After reading the excellent reviews about this place we decided to try it out for ourselves and were not let down.. the 2 gents that served us (sorry I didn't get your names) but an absolute credit to this establishment, from the minute we walked in till we left we were treated like royalty and this is with them dealing with other customers and doing delivery service which didn't stop the whole time we were there.. food was awesome and loads of it, wine was priced really well for a sit in.. asked for ice with my wine as that is how I like it and every time I ran out they came to replenish it. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend this place, im not sure how anyone could have...

On a flying visit to the city, our taxi driver recommended it, and since it was just across the road, why not? We are spoiled in our home town with really good Indian eateries, so always feel wary when away from home. We need not have worried. The food was first class, with juicey tender meat, beautifully balanced in flavour with spices, the portions were generous (glad I didn't go for a starter, I'd never have finished it all! , the rice was cooked just right, our peshwari naan was just sweet enough and not too doughey, the sauce was piquant with a sour hint which married perfectly with everything else. I have been a valued customer here for over 30YEARS! Never have i ever been treated so bad, i have my food delivered every single friday, and on a few occasions on an off this past month the rice was a bit off, then this week it was disgusting and couldnt be eaten! I always get family feast which consists off 4 curries two starters nan i always get extra rice and chapati's and chips, the next day I returned the rice and one of the curries to let them see it was off and the smell was over powering they agreed, now i could have taken that food to environmental health but thought better of my loyalty to this restaurant so decided to let it go, now after taken this up with them last week i calle...
