beautiful eating good service, only the ambiente is a bit let in.

Good service and great food. Have walked past this restaurant many times without really noticing that its there but I'm glad we visited, a real find.

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The service was quick and the staff were very friendly. The food was absolutely delicious. It's clear why they have such a long history in Edinburgh!

The food is ok and some parts like rice and chicken tikka very good. Avoid the spinach bhaji if you want fresh spinach. If you get the 20% offer on food from The Fork do the maths before the bill comes!

very good service and eating was excellent. we had the tandoori dinner for 2 and it was very delicious. every dish was good and we enjoyed it. the lamb and the chicken were both upper bones. the mixed pakora plate was great. personal very friendly. will be eating again!

Don't pay attention to the negative reviews! The staff at this restaurant were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food was outstanding and the service was fast. These were some of the best Indian dishes we've had in a long time! We will definitely be returning, thank you so much!

We both enjoyed our food, the place was warm and inviting, we got an order for two but felt we could have tried a couple more dishes to make it value for money, my downside which I hate is the people when paying took my bank card from me and put into the machine and hand it back, I really hate other people touching my bank card as it’s personal, especially with covid being about

Arrived on booking our Christmas day feast ,older host at the door was off and rude no warmth or welcoming no hello which wasn't very pleasant but each and everyone else of the staff was nice,food was wonderful and tasty had a great banquet, definitely need to sort out the man at the door he definitely puts you off setting foot into the Indian lounge he get 0 for being nice other staff get 8

I informed the restaurant about a food restriction when I made the reservation. I also confirmed the food restriction when I ordered. Unfortunately, every dish I ordered was served with small amounts of substance. this could have been an honest mistake, but I didn't get a statement why I ordered pure white rice and instead got rice with small amounts of the substance. the host was courteous and recognized his fault and offered to reorder my court (but not the court of my companion that we wanted to share). Unfortunately, the new court, which appeared as a substitute, was too salty and had a bitter aftertaste. my humiliation, the curries are mediocre. I didn't cost my meal.
