super environments, very friendly with arbiter and very tasty eating.

unfortunately the service was found only when smoking in front of the door. No one asked if drinks are still desired, etc. pity for the kitchen that is really good, but the service makes everything too nothing.

I went to the Inselbastei times in the last year. Twice we could sit on the terrace with the nice view of the river, once we had to be inside it was winter. The service was always good. The food nice, but nothing special....My Japanese guest was happy with the German food and especially with the choice of good local wines and the low prices. The choice of fish is not that good as it used to be but there is still something for every taste

I dont recommend this place, they are not caring about costumer. Once I was there and in the smoking area the owners or friends of them were smoking. I asked the staff that it bothers me and please close the door of the smocking area,...instead of closing the door they suggested me to change my place... this is so rude.. they dont care if the costumer is happy,... no motivation to make u feel comfortable and relax. It is a pitty that this restaurant is located in such a beautiful park. I would never go to this restaurant again

We were there, with two kids, my husband and I were there last month without kids was not good but this time my parents in law want to try and we have to wait and wait for drink for foods about over two hours.... What...should it be, they have two waitress but one was really not friendly since last time too she was unbelievable and this time was same she looks like Asian another lady was nicer and we were appreciated that she tried to bring food as soon as possible. Foods were delicious, view was great but service should be improved immediately

I was there with my friends. Beautiful place with absolutely gorgeous view of river Rhein. The host were friendly, I was so glad that my friends were local otherwise I would have gone hungry as there was no menu in English! Upon recommendation. I had...the Maisel's Weisse vom Fass Bananenweizen mit Maisel’s Weisse vom Fass followed by Rumpsteak mit Zweibein oder Krautebutter, Bratkartoffeln und Salat and for dessert we had Waffel mit Kirschen Vanilleeis und Sahne, Waffel mit Eierlikör Vanilleeis und Sahne. Can't rave about the food, nothing spectacular! Worth a visit for the beautiful view

Insel Bastei is located on an island in the Rhine in Ludwigshafen. They have a lot of outdoor seating and it is nice in the summer to sit by the river. The cuisine is the traditional GermanPfalzish style with saumagen and leber knodel and all...the other German favourites. They have a seasonal menu as well in the autumn it was pfefferlinge based meals and venison. I had schnitzel here one time and pork with pfefferlinge and pasta another time both were good. The service can be slow if it is busy or you are behind a large party. The décor is a bit old fashioned and I think its nicer to sit outside in the summer. Dinner for two euros

We were there and from atmosphere is very nice, it was really nice restaurant with beautiful view nearby river Rhein. If you like to see good view so you should visit here, but only.... If you don't mind bad service and unfriendly staff there. There...were two women and one guy, that guy was friendly.... Only one, two ladies were unprofessional, not friendly . I am a bit disappointed. Foods were delicious and from this price, it was ok..but for service.. I don't want to give any for them only that guy not for two ladies, I'm sorry to tell you about that but it was true. If anyone from this restaurant read our comments, I would love to tell you that you have beautiful location, delicious food...
