Nice discovery. Beergardens are surprisingly hard to find in Berlin. But stick to beer. Food was poor. Pizzas are talked up but my salami peperoni was the worst pizza I have ever had. One of party got ill through salmon too

Came across this place by accident but glad we did. The area is lovely lots of tables and seats but nothing too close together (COVID times). Drinks were reasonable enough and for us the service was really quick. Will happily go back. Also dog...friendly which suited us.

This beer garden is just off Karl-Marx-Allee, which can feel a bit quiet if there isn't an event on. It is deceptively large and does the simple things- like large glasses of cold beer, very well indeed. Despite the fact it must get really busy...sometimes, when we were there it felt like a bit of a hidden gem.

I highly encourage you to NEVER patronize James June Biergarten in Friedrichshain! This is their bathroom sign. A man lifting up a woman's skirt. Cool. Considering that the bathrooms are actually connected, and this could easily happen, this makes me feel quite unsafe. Yes, I...did ask about the sign, just in case I was somehow interpreting this incorrectly. However, I was assured that, no, this is just a sexist sign that the owner refuses to take down. It was clear that there have been complaints before.

Our burgers arrived with two different sauces and they fell apart. I didn't care for the spicy sauce. It's a shame they didn't offer it in a bottle or on the side. Food and drinks were too expensive for the quality. Burger was a formed...patty, not fresh meat. The atmosphere is okay, but I didn't care for the music. There doesn't appear to be table service: order your food at the bar. There is a deposit for your drinking glass. There was no soap in the bathroom. There must be a better place to eat in the neighborhood!

We visited here on a Sunday afternoon and it was very quiet. This made food quick to order and a pizza for is very good value. Having read reviews about the litre beer and there being of us we thought this would...be a good option to share. At just over it was good value but even straight from the fridge the keg wasn't cold enough and it turned into a bit of an effort pouring and drinking it. A good place to visit if you're in the area but maybe just for a cold pint or from the bar and a pizza. We visited other biergartens that we thought were better.

To paraphrase Thomas Grey ,we dropped into James June Sommergarten to be far from the madding crowds well for a short time anyway as we attending the widely popular Berlin Beer Festival Biermielle and needed a time out to enjoy a...beer and this beer garden fitted the bill perfectly. A cool beer garden with plenty of seating options spread throughout this well kept area, it was just so good enjoying a few beers in here ,chilling out ,catching our breath before my twin brother Stephen and I rejoined the great beer festival Easy to locate along Karl Marx Allee, most definitely well worth checking out if your in the area.

With temperatures hitting the degree mark we thought a trip to a beer garden would be a good idea ,as we had already been to Prater Garten we thought we would try James June Sommergarten and what a great find. We were here on...a roasting hot afternoon, we got a table and went up and got a beer each,these were served in tip top condition being iced cold and sparkling and it was so nice just chilling out in the sun and watch this beer garden slowly fill up. In a city the size of Berlin there are surprisingly only about a dozen or so beer gardens and this one was one of the best beer gardens we visited. I don't know how often I have been walking past this place wanting to go in but yesterday was the day. This place just looks really perfect for an outside drink after work protected by the trees like a little oasis. When I...walked in I thought I would never have to look for another beer garden anymore. Wooden benches for bigger crowds, elevated in the center or more quietly set up under the trees to the side and this set up has been completed by a few relaxed beach chairs and some loungy pieces to actually lay down...
