"We visited on a cold, wet Monday evening to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This is our 4th year visiting the beautiful misty Isle, and needless to say, we absolutely love Skye. The restaurant was welcoming, warm, and relaxed yet totally professional. We had a trio of fish and a blue cheese salad as starter's followed by fish and chips. I realise this doesn't sound overly exciting, but both courses were absolutely amazing. My beautiful wife and I can honestly say we haven't ever had fish and chips that were as good, fresh, and thoroughly enjoyable for many a year. To sum up our amazing experience, we have booked again for later this week and could possibly have the same again. Thank you to all."

"Get ready for an exceptional fine dining experience. Who would have imagined that navigating the narrow, winding roads while avoiding sheep and traveling such a distance would be worthwhile? Well... it truly is. Prepare to be delighted by incredible dishes featuring mostly local ingredients. The staff is highly knowledgeable about both the menu and the wine selections. The chef must certainly be a master of their craft. I only wish we could have met the person responsible for creating these exquisite dishes. Just a heads-up, the prices may take you by surprise, but when the flavors linger in your mind longer than the cost, you know you're in for something special. "The selection of sweet treats is absolutely delightful! I enjoyed a cup of tea accompanied by a delicious orange Danish, a strawberry muffin, and the highly recommended apricot white chocolate sponge. Everything was simply divine!"

"Skye is also home to the restaurant Three Chimneys, which is about an hour's drive from the main town of Portree. Nestled on a picturesque ocean inlet in a charming white cottage, this restaurant highlights the very best of Skye's local produce. Although it lost its Michelin star a few weeks after my visit, I would still give it five stars in my Foodie Melbourne guide. This establishment has been operated by the same owners since 1985—longer than I've been around— and even though they are no longer on-site, they remain actively involved in maintaining the ethos and high standards they have cultivated over the past 30 years."

"I still don't understand even though it was explained to me twice why we were refused pizzas, too late in terms of the schedule, and why the 3 other tables (people who returned AFTER us) were able to benefit from pizzas. Not a fan of fish, it’s disappointing! (Because it was announced to us at the entrance that there is only FISH and CHIPS left). To top it all off, the prices on their site are no longer the same, everything is more expensive on the ticket!"
