"I have been coming here for years and always recommend it to friends. But I think the management has changed as well as staff as the food this time around was good but not nearly as good as in the past. The portions were huge but the dishes were hit and miss (the Madfon chicken was great). Also, the menus have changed and unless you are familiar with Yemeni food, you'll have to look up and decipher what the dishes are. Also, instead of a bunch of Yemenis in the kitchen, I saw Indians working in the back and front of the house. They didn't respond to my Salam at all and didn't describe in detail what the dishes were, just took our orders."

The food was good and plentiful. My cola came in a can with a straw and without a glass, but I can live with that...! Unfortunately the place was very cold. Restaurant wasn't clean, table was oily, chair was oily, menu was oily, even the floor was oily, we couldn't even sit properly. You have to hire one or two people who only care about the cleanliness of the restaurant. Plate was broken at the edge. It's a shame that these negative things exist because the food was delicious and the staff was okay too. You have to improve a lot on it

It was my first time trying Yemeni food, and I really enjoyed the flavors! The portions are huge, though, so you might not be able to finish everything. I wouldn’t recommend their fattoush salad—I’ve had much better versions of it at other places. One other issue was that they brought the main dishes and appetizers all at once, so we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the appetizers first. But overall, I’d definitely recommend this place if you’re into hearty meat and rice dishes!
