"The best I have ever tasted. Batter is perfect, lovely juicy fish. Totally outdoes anything I have tried nearby, and the staff are happy and friendly and advised me on the food to order as I wasn't sure, I was ordering for a big group of people with different preferences . We did try another fish and chip shop that was local, but the person that answered the phone was very rude and not helpful. I felt as if I was annoying them for asking about the menu. That put me off straight away. Definately jolly Roger will be my choice. Can't praise it enough. some amazing fresh tasting fish in big teig. I read a Dodgy review from someone who had never checked before or after and decided to ignore it. I'm glad I did it when it was a big fish shop. I would suggest getting 10 minutes there before it opens. personal and friendly and polite.
