"I had been to another sushi-belt restaurant in Bremen a few years ago but this was my first time at Kabuki and it was chosen by a colleague from our Bremen office. Three of us went - one local, two visitors - and I would suggest it's not a good choice for any group bigger than 4 people. We had pre-booked (it gets VERY busy) but our colleague who goes regularly said they never check the names and suggested if you don't have a booking to just say that you do........not very German! It's a very crowded restaurant with a belt running up and down the middle. You open a little perspex window onto the belt and grab whatever is passing. It can be a bit frustrating if - like us - you find yourself on the return side of the belt when people on the outbound side are grabbing all the goodies. There's a LOT of food and a lot of variety and we ate far too much. There are some limited desserts - ice cream, banana fritters - but watch out that you can't sometimes tell if something is sweet or savoury, so take care.At 14.90 Euros for the weekday evening menu this isn't top quality, fine artisan sushi but it's fabulous value for money. Drinks on top. For 3 of us it cost 60 Euros with 2 drinks per person."
