Date 27/04/2024. Most of the desserts on the menu are not available. The friendly Turkish service staff has changed, the decor has changed, there are no coffees we can buy. I am really sad.

Lovely café! The turkish coffee was divine and I want to come back for the pastries and date ice cream! The man at the cashier was very nice and explained to me how to make salep, only negative was that the waiter that served us seemed very lost and kept messing up our orders so we had to ask someone else. Hot chocolate always good. Asked if they do afternoon tea for 2, completely discouraging, I asked if they did vegetarian sandwiches as sandwiches are part of the afternoon tea. I couldn’t get a coherent response from either waiting staff. Very frustrating. Couldn’t understand this was for a future possible booking. Sort yourselves out please.

Awful service! they were almost empty and we had to wait for 45 min since we placed our order. In the end we had to leave! We waited 45 min for 3 icecreams that we never got them at the end!!! The managers behaviour and staff unacceptable. Staff luck of training, we had to confirm the order 3 times with the waitress then when we kept asking her where the order was she was saying it is coming we are preparing now... And only when they saw as leaving they took the glasses to put the ice cream in.

Remodeled in 2024, too bright, less enjoyable. I have been coming here for nearly 10 years. It has been one of my favourite coffee shops in London, until today. I've been away a few months and came back to a newly remodeled interior. Changed seating, OK. Changed wall decor, boring and not so beautiful anymore, OK although disappointing. However, the worst is the lighting. It is simply too bright and now it is uncomfortable to be here. My eyes hurt. I can't relax and enjoy my time here, as I've done for nearly 10 years. There are 75 lamps over the staff counter. 20 on their back wall. And another 50 lamps over the front corridor of the customer seating area. Why? It's too much. Unnecessary. W... Visualizza piatti
