"we were staying at the nearby Wild Duck Holiday Park and visited this pub for lunch. we received very friendly service from the young lady behind the bar Theresa was her name I think. There were 5 adults in our party and we had various food all was well cooked and presented well . The portion size was really large my Daughters fish covered the plate. Good atmosphere we were made welcome and a bonus was it was dog friendly. if you are in the area do not miss out on visiting this great pub"

Popped in for a drink and snack hands down the nicest pub chips I’ve had in years, friendly bar staff and very clean toilets will be back!

Worst roast we have ever had. Hard roast potatoes and veg. Flavourless and not very hot. Lack of atmosphere. Seems more like a restaurant than a pub

Had a steak dinner with all the trimmings it was such a lovely meal very reasonable prise and staff were great and it's dog friendly would recommend and will definitely go again

Popped in on our night away for a meal. The food menu was vast with lots of yummy choices. Staff were very kind and attentive. We both enjoyed our meals and at reasonable prices too. Thanks!

Unfortunately since previous review place changed hand , new owners (2 women very rude need. Customer care training Sunday limited menu , overriding factor one star very bad attitude of owners

We phoned about dogs, no probs. So we went for a meal as we were on short break, very welcoming locals freindly, our meals were good honest food good portions, staff lovely. Try it for sunday lunch as well. Cheers guys

The yummiest bread butter pudding ever! Calling in for lunch was very impressed with the menu options. Chose the gammon, egg chips, my friends had the hunters chicken and the blue cheese burger. All the portions were very generous, lovely chips and homemade...

Had a meal today and was absolutely lovely, so reasonably priced and so tasty. The staff are really friendly and helpful and made us feel really welcome. The burger was gorgeous and cooked perfect, brilliant range of gins had a lovely afternoon! Would definitely return.

Spent a great evening in the function room for my dads 80th birthday, we really could not of wished for better, all the staff could not do enough for you, the buffet was amazon so fresh and tasty, the room was a nice size for the amount we had, Rob the resident DJ was spot on with the entertainment, would recommend the kings head for you functions, great around value, keep up the good work guys, and many thanks to all.
