"Loved this place which we eat at last night! It's looks lovely and traditional, had a good menu of staples, favourites and traditional Bavarian food and a friendly waitress who although couldn't speak any English, helped us navigate the menu. When the food arrived (I ordered a steak & my wife the schnitzel) it was a huge portion of tasty home cooked food made to order which was exactly what we wanted. No frills, no huge salad just a big plate of lovely food cooked fresh and we loved it.The restaurant doesn't score too highly in Schliersee on Trip Advisor but apart from Restaurant David (#1 in Schliersee) this place is our second favourite and well worth a visit!"

"Ich habe vor zwei Jahren schon einmal eine Bewertung abgegeben, kurz nach den Corona-Jahren. Nach wie vor ist das Hofhaus unser Stammlokal, wir sind noch nie enttäuscht worden-und das Personal gibt alles. Der Junior Chef, der seit vergangenem Jahr die Küche leitet, überrascht mit leckeren Gerichten außerhalb der Karte, aber auch alles auf der Karte ist sehr lecker und frisch. Dass man in einem Touristengebiet reservieren sollte oder es am Nachmittag mal eine Pause für Dich Küche gibt, sollte selbstverständlich sein. Leider haben wir schon des Öfteren mitbekommen, dass Gäste, die keinen Tisch oder um 15 Uhr kein warmes Essen bekommen, sehr unfreundlich reagieren und mit schlechten Bewertungen drohen. Sven, Manuel und Rico und alle anderen sind immer so herzlich und fleißig dazu. Mehr gibt es da wohl nicht zu sagen. Danke dass es Euch gibt!"

"we made the ascent to the schliersbergalm with our two lütten (2 / 4 j). was good to do, but the first half is asphalted. above we were expecting a big alm with nice playground, but it's already a bit worn out. the view of the lake is great. it was quite full and the service didn't pay attention to us at all and was quite in stress. eating (bubbread, cheese) was quite ok. Then we went down with the cable car. a beautiful destination for a short trip. we weren't so excited about the restaurant, but it's already in order."
