This restaurant is very too small. All clients are very close, not very comfortable and they've got a big ventilation problem. Menu is correct, not at good price for what you've got.

Carte tres courte mais qui fait envie : 2 entrees, 2 plats, 2 desserts. L'une des deux entree est identique a la garniture des plats (asperges). Les portions sont vraiment petites mais avec entree/plat/dessert et une corbeille de pain ca passe.... la deco est soignee et reussie...pas trop cher et pas vraiment top non plus. Tout petit restaurant fort agréable (tables espacées et jolie déco). Cuissons merveilleuses. Petites portions mais prix tous doux (30€ entrée + plat + dessert). Belle carte des vins. Personnel absolument adorable (dessert concocté minute avec des produits frais et hors carte pour cause d'intolérance alimentaire). Bref : chaudement recommandé. Bravo à toute l'équipe, nous reviendrons ! Réservation obligatoire.

Nous avons voulu étrenner le restaurant en prenant le menu dégustation (2 entrées, 1 plat, 2 desserts ou fromage et dessert) à 46 € et n'avons pas été déçus. Les portions étaient très bien calibrées pour notre appétit.Les plats changent chaque semaine, les desserts tous les mois. Mardi dernier, asperge et lotte en entrées, côtes et épaule d'agneau en plat, fromages d'Auvergne et charlotte avec sorbets en dessert pour moi. Le tout très inventif dans les préparations et d'une cuisson impeccable (notamment la lotte).

I chose Kokoro for our party of three because of its Bib Gourmand designation and positive reviews everywhere. In its modest dining room we ate a delicious dinner. The spirited waitress interpreted for us the short menu and the short wine list. At my request, she showed us the bottles. Without our asking, she let us sample wines. Having fun, we forgot about the closing time, 10 pm. No one remined us. We finally stood up at 11:30 pm. I apologized for overstaying, and offered a tip. The lone staffer in the dark kitchen, perhaps the owner, said that the bill included the service. As to my apologies, he said: „We like to have last guests.“ They omitted a small item for the bill. We were staying in the Hotel Monge and wanted to go to a place nearby. At first we were a bit concerned as they have a fixed menu. But do not that stop you from eating at Kokoro. The food is so fresh and so well prepared. The fixed menu provides two options for each part of the meal - and my wife each had a different option and we were both so very pleased with the dinner. I would highly recommend the restaurant for its excellent food and wine.I must also mention the incredible service we received. The restaurant is small and while there is only one waitress she is attentive to your needs and makes sure you are not lacking for any thing. So for good food and service it is worth a trip to Kok...

I ate here for lunch since it was highly recommended by a colleague and it was close to my office at UPMC. The previous time I showed up (for dinner, unannounced) the restaurant was fully booked, but a week later (this time for lunch, with a reservation), there were just two or three tables taken. I had the fantastic 3 course meal for 25 Euros (there was an option of having just 2 courses for 19.50 Euros) which might have sufficed to kill my hunger. The starter was a cold duck terrine, the main course a steak, and dessert a fromage blanc tarte with orange overtones. We went to this restaurant with my boyfriend and arrived at precisely 20:15. We were met by an unpleasant waitress, but alas this is Paris so we weren’t shocked. What did shock us was that our food did not arrive until almost 10pm.. a good hour and a half after we got there. We were not given bread until after a full hour of waiting, and of course no other snack. No apologies were made for the long wait or explanations, and I should say the restaurant was not particularly busy that evening. They have an open kitchen so you can see the chef working, and he did not look to be in a hurry to prepare the dishes for all the tables waiting.
