"We enjoyed a lovely breakfast here this morning in front of a real wood-burning fireplace in this warm, inviting, cozily decorated little gem of a restaurant, nestled in a long, winding staircase full of flowers and greenery. Had the weather been nicer, we could have eaten outside on a terrace overlooking part of the city. They use lots of natural and local ingredients (including eggs from hens who reside in a lovely little garden outside on one of the restaurant's terraces). We enjoyed tea (loose leaf in a personal pot), delicious regional juice, fruit salad, croissants with honey and stellar house-made marmalade, eggs (the scrambled egg was the best I'd ever had!), seed buns fresh from the oven (which we ordered more of), and a beautifully presented plate of cheeses, vegetables (purple carrots, cress, tomatoes, cucumbers, radishes, etc.), and fruits. We can't wait to go back to this place. Our only complaint was that the tables were a bit small for all the dishes and the servers didn't clear any of our empty plates, which left us stacking dishes on the adjacent shelves trying to clear space. Otherwise, it was a perfect, relaxing, and delicious experience and I would recommend it to anyone."
