"Die Bewertung fällt nicht ganz einfach. Angefangen hat es mit der Reservierung, die ziemlich in die Hose gegangen ist. Leider wurde dabei ein Fehler gemacht und man konnte den zugesagten Tisch nicht mehr anbieten und das zwei Stunden vorher. Anstatt eine Kompensation als kleine Entschuldigung in Form eines Aperitifs o.ä. für die unschöne Platzierung an der Bar anzubieten, hat man lieber mit uns im Kreis herumdiskutiert. Etwas mehr Kundenfreundlichkeit der Küchenfreunde wäre schön. Das Ambiente ist ansprechend, der Laden ist ziemlich winzig, man fühlt sich wohl. Die Auswahl in der Abend -Karte ist nicht groß, aber es ist trotzdem für jeden was dabei und es gibt wechselnde Tagesgerichte ( Fleisch und vegetarisch). Ich hatte einen Salat mit Gemüse und Quinoa, sehr sehr köstlich. Die Roulade meines Begleiters hat auch prima ausgesehen und ebenso geschmeckt.Der Service ist so lala, also noch Luft nach oben. Da wir uns wegen unserer misslungenen Reservierung beschwert haben, wurden wir ziemlich kühl behandelt,... irgendwie ok, ... aber eben kühl. Man hat es uns deutlich spüren lassen, dass wir "gemeckert" haben.Also liebe Küchenfreunde, ein wenig mehr Serviceorientierung, auch wenn es mal (zu recht) unbequem wird. Das ist die Kür...Fazit: empfehlenswert, mit kleinem Optimierungspotential."

We are always very happy with the kitchen friends at the Grindel. The team is super nice, courteous and food, drinks ambience leave no wishes open. Great compliment as a team!

Unfortunately, I must say that we were a little disappointed. Hardly one sat, the service came to ask what to drink. please give first time food was good, but no surprise and too expensive: for 2 people: two aperitifs, a bottle of wine, a bottle of water, no appetizer, no dessert € 110, (too much)

In front of Corona we were more frequent there, both at lunch and at night, and now it was finally ready again. 2 hours at the table to two, evening card as usual. Quality too. The shells are unsurpassed when something else fits in the stomach, like to take the Apple Crumble. Extra wishes were met without any problems. The service was very attentive, we felt comfortable all around. And definitely come back.
