Always such nice food. The seats are a bit cramped and we were on a table seated around a pillar. Great atmosphere though!

The food was tasty, but the location was noisy and the prices were too high, especially considering that we left the restaurant still feeling hungry.

Food was nothing special, tempura tasted like was fried in the same oil as the mushrooms which made it taste horrible. Sushi seemed ok even though the rice was overcooked. Place was ok and good cocktails from the bar, pricey but standard for Kings road.

as always great food in funky location. service could be a bit more organised and seemed a bit more chaotic than usual. however, still a fantastic place that we keep on coming back to. just a heads up that dishes can arrive rather quickly and all together so it can make sense to split the ordering of appetizers from main courses

Back room is too big for a group of 8. The table is too big to talk to friends across the table. We were forgotten about by waiters and had to get up and seek service on multiple occasions. The waiter missed half of our order. It was £85 per person and some people left still hungry. Food is good but plates are small and come slowly.

We had a very mediocre experience here. On the whole the food was average, the sushi was definitely the highlight but the pork felt of poor quality so we didn't enjoy the buns or the ribs. Equally we had a lot of issues with our order and things arrived that we didn't ask for. We were then told we wouldn't be charged for these but the bill came with some of the items on. The front of house made me feel quite unwelcome and we felt even less so when we decided not to pay the service charge.

I have been coming to this restaurant for many years, ever since it was just a pop-up. Unfortunately, my last visit was quite disappointing and did not meet the usual high standards I have come to expect. The food was not as well executed as before, with signature dishes like the walnut candied aubergine being sloppy and not as good as I remembered. The cocktails were delicious and the staff were friendly and attentive, but for the price, the food did not live up to expectations. The overall ambiance felt flat and more like a canteen than a restaurant. While I had a nice evening with my friend, it just wasn't as good as it used to be, especially considering the price. I've been here for many years, where we were here again when it was just a pop-up! I'm sorry to say that this last visit was quite disappointing and not where near the standards I would expect! I found that eating was not done as well and underwriting dishes as the walnut candidate aubergine was sloppy and warm, not as id recalls. cocktails were beautiful and the staff very friendly and attentive, but for the price tag eating not on the high standard I expected! I would even go so far to say that the actual ambiente was pretty flat and generally felt more like a kantine than a restaurant!
