"The welcome here was quite cool and the menus are 4 courses including either chicken, lamb or duck going up in price. Very cheap. but you soon learn why as the presentation and service leave a lot to be desired and the flies are just...dreadful. They had run out of lamb, so my friends had bifsteak hardly cooked and not nice! My chicken portion was acceptable in that it was cooked properly, The dessert was bizarre. Very French which is normally good, but so rural you need to be a native I think to enjoy it."

Unmatched and always as good as when I was a kid, so for nearly 59 years. A simple, copied kitchen served by people entirely dedicated to our well being. What more? Affordable? That is the case. To do absolutely in addition to the visit of the Abbey of Lescaladieu and the castle of Mauvezin.

We had lunch in this hostel by chance and we were pleasantly surprised by the very good value price : 12 euros for the first menu with soup, crudities and charcuterie, chicken with dauphines apples and salad, dessert. We were recommended to this restaurant which is certainly very local . 4 courses for 14 euros ! Almost everyone eating there appeared to live locallay and the food was certainly of the district. We were well fed and well served but the number of flies...was rather off putting but excellent value and a real taste of what the locality has to offer.

Family lunch at 6 in this hostel that has kept a charm and authenticity of a past time. A family kitchen with local products. I wanted to come back 30 after to once again taste the dauphine apples of the house. This Madeleine de Proust is always up to the height. To be recommended for local residents and people visiting the Abbey and the Castle of the commune!
