"Living in central Spain, we are used to great meat dishes but love to come to the coast to get fresh seafood made by locals who are accustomed to doing it on a regular basis. We apparently found a restaurant on the coast that is vice versa, it can do decent meat dishes but woeful seafood! Babs loves a plate of clams with some fresh garlic and herbs (almejas al ajillo) so when we spotted them on the menu, there was no doubt we 'd be ordering them. What we got was a bizarre mix of fresh clams in some weird milky, floury bland stock that didn 't really taste of anything (were those indistinguishable bits floating in it garlic powder and dried herbs maybe? I can 't be sure but fresh parsley and garlic at least can 't be hard for a restaurant to source cheaply? If they were present in the dish, they were thrown in from a distance). More worryingly the restaurant staff seemed to think that this milky brothy soup was something to savour as they left it on our table for us to enjoy as they cleaned up our plates from our first course. I asked them to take it away so I didn 't have to look at it anymore. What a way to destroy such a beautiful product! Oddly though the pork medallions I had for my main course we actually quite delicious and Babs enjoyed her goats cheese salad without it being anything to write home about. When we asked for a drink after our meal, it never arrived so we asked for the bill which no one wanted to come to charge so we just went up to the bar to pay it. It should be said that they took us for our evening meal without a reservation and apart from the problems stated above, the waiting staff were very friendly. Just don 't order the clams!"

Todo muy bueno. Recomiendo las alcachofas, los calamares y las croquetas de chato. Los camareros, muy amables.

We were not made to feel welcome at all. The staff were bordering on rude didn’t tell us that menu was via QR code on the wall. Food was OK but I definitely wouldn’t return.

On arrival everything was calm, we were seated promptly. The level of attention from staff was exceptional. The food was excellent. The wine was really good. Excellent job, all!.

Local con encanto, decorado haciendo gala de su nombre. Buen producto y atención excelente. Llevamos una niña celíaca y pudo disfrutar de bastantes opciones. Un sitio totalmente recomendable

Hoy hemos ido a comer y decir que estaba todo muy rico y muy bien cocinado. Pedimos una ensalada de queso camberbet crujiente,manzana y vinagre de dulce de miel Muy rica y bien elaborada los productos frescos y sabrosos. Y para terminar paella de lagarto...

Popped into this restaurant for lunch it was quiet but the food and service were both amazing. We opted for menu of the day and were not disappointed. The wine was really decent too. Will definitely come back for an evening meal very soon. Great value for money.

Great food and music night. We have been to this restaurant numerous times and it’s always good. This time, it was for a music night as they had a live band playing Still in the Groove. The music was great and we were all up dancing by the end of the night. The food was also really good. On our table we had cod, chicken and the guys shared the Tomahauk steak which they said was delicious. The service was excellent and we had a delicious Ribera del Duero wine which was reasonably priced. In the past I’ve attended a wine tasting here which was also good fun. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
