"We went to this restaurant for a dinner and had reserved table before throuhg tripadvisor webpage. At the reservation was that we get 30% discount from the menu items. When we arrvived to the restaurant it was almoust empty and they recognice our reservation right away. We got menus and asked about the discount and then sit started. The waiter (woman) explained us that the discount doesn't concern menus and plates and so on... It is only valid when you order from ala carte and you HAVE to eat also a main course which were very expencive ! I tried to explain to the waiter that when we reserved the table nowhere was rule that you have to take main course and it dosn't consern the ready sushi menus ? Then the waiter shout to us again and again that so it is and it is not her reason why it is not said at the web page. She was so rude that I have never ever faced situation like that. We stand up and went out of the restaurant. We don't know about the food at restaurant but we never have to figure it out becouse we won't go to this restaurant ever."

"a modern setting and a cheerful and lively atmosphere in the evening. Many people do not prevent reception and service from being very friendly and effective. the menu offers many Italian specialties, pizzy, pasti and bruchetti that we could taste were very good. idem for desserts. of good quality Italian cuisine that is not limited to classic pasta/pizza. the wine map is quite rich and seems to be of good quality (we had for our part chosen a very good oat nero.) the basic rates are fairly high but by booking online (more than advised given the frequentation of the places the discount offers allow to reduce the addition to a correct level. an address we keep in our book without problems"

"this restaurant that I have been attending for several years is always faithful to itself: a careful cuisine, attentive and pleasant staff and a relaxing setting. I recently returned and found the same qualities: a humorous boss and a sparkling waitress of smiles and delicacy. difficult to choose from the dishes, they are all combined with care and know how to do. a good choice of wines and......those who love the good williams pear in digstif...this is where you have to go!"

"We visited La Vie D'Ange after welcoming 5 intrepid cyclists who had ridden from London to Paris to raise money for a well known childrens charity.As a current resident of Paris I was responsible for finding a convenient location for friends family and cyclists to meet.My decision was based upon the excellent reviews, and oh, how pleased all 11 were that I found this gem. Warmly received we were treated to a selection of excellent red & white wines to accompany both starters and main courses. Whether it was the starters of fish soup, veal vol au vents (with sweat meats) or scallops then the mains including, lamb shank, steaks, fresh fish (salmon on our visit) or ribs, the quality was exceptional throughout.The highlight may just have been the Salted Caramel Creme Brulee.To the owner and staff a huge thank you for a spectacularly successful evening.For sure it's off the beaten path, but really worth the venture. The Parisian cafe at its best!!"

"Nous avons passé un bon moment dans cet agréable restaurant bistrot-mexicain et au service attentionné. Nous avons beaucoup aimé les entrées/plats/desserts choisis (mentions spéciales pour le dessert pour ma part avec les tuiles aux amandes, mangue et crème fouettée et, pour la qualité de la viande qui était très bonne avec la joue de bœuf pour ma part et l'onglet de bœuf pour mon mari). Toutefois, un bémol, le menu est proposé à 35 euros et il nous a paru un peu élevé par rapport à la quantité servie dans les assiettes (nous avons l'habitude de ce type de restaurant). Après, nous avions réservé par la fourchette et nous avons bénéficié des -20% donc dans ce cas, le prix correspond tout à fait à la quantité servie."
