really nice location, seems to be on holiday!!! good food but nothing exciting! I'm sorry that the service is a little sad. It would be nice to shake a hand to the customer when he comes out rather than sitting on his phone in his hand.

nice little restaurant in a typical Ticino nucleus, with competent and friendly family run. paper (or board) slender and cured menu, as well as that of wines with excellent value for money. only sins the lack of parking in adjacent areas.

I had dinner here a couple of weeks ago with friends. we shared two exquisite appetizers, fish carpacci with burrata and marinated anchovies, and later I took some patters. the price is not the most convenient but the food is great, the staff is kind and offer the tap water jug without problems. I'll be back!

Once we arrived, the waiter of a very good bruschetta served us. then we continued to order our main dishes. I went for spaghetti all bygole veraci and my friend the maccheroni con papate, porcini e gamberi. both dishes were very well prepared and the seafood were really fresh! more beautiful waiters. the price is honest and I was quite surprised to pay only 68 francs for such a good dinner with wein and prosecco in lugano.

I had dinner at this restaurant on advice of acquaintances and to try something new but I was disappointed. The bruschetta offered for appetizer was now completely soft, who knows how long it was ready. the rest (antipasto, first and second) bad, very salty and seasoned with poor olive oil. We left almost everything in the dish. it will have been a case or the wrong evening but fact is that I will not come back and above all I do not recommend it to lovers of good food. every time I find myself having to recommend a restaurant in lugano and surroundings, my first choice falls on the kitchen of elsa. a well calibrated and illustrated paper through a board, a kind and efficient owner (mimmo,) excellent fish dishes at a good price. plentiful portions and an excellent wine card. in summer the local has some outdoor tables, among the narrow streets of the beautiful village of biogno (breganzona) that is a few kilometers from the town of lugano. recommended for a romantic dinner or for an evening with friends and family.

we stayed for dinner on advice of friends. a small trattoria overlooking a small square, a few tables, intimate environment and home management. fish specialities. Eating is great and the portions are abundant. bruschetta offered as an aperitif. we tried octopus and potatoes, patcheri with shrimp and pesto, calamaretti with eggplants. All delicious. Desserts are homemade and I recommend Catalan cream. Careful and courteous service, very appreciated. pleasant the environment with a particularly appreciated background playlist (ray charles, miles davis, soft jazz). We'll be back to the next special occasion.

"Me and my husband chose this restaurant to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary. We came all the way from USA and I can tell you this place didn't disappoint us. Very nice location, close to the lake and easy to find. We started our 5 course chef's tasting menu from appetizers by chef. It was mix of cheeses in different variations deep fried, cream cheese, cheese truffle and refreshing gazpacho soup. 1.Our first tasting dish were amberjack ceviche with fresh mint, peach and lemon sauce. It was absolutely delightful. 2.Then we had poached egg in creamy pea puree and shaved with Belèer Knolle cheese. It was also one of my favorite dishes because it was so creamy and egg was a great addition to this dish. Also there were Bona crumbles sweet to balance the pea puree. 3. Next Paccheridi Gragnano halves with oriental veal ragout. unfortunately this pasta wasn't my favorite. It was too al dente and I am not used to such a thick uncooked pasta. We ask waiter and he confirmed that's the way it should be. Also too much peanuts overwhelmed the sauce and it felt you are eating sneakers. But I absolutely loved veal ragout sauce, it was rich with flavors and very nicely done. 4.Then our next dish was Red Mediterranean tuna with charcoal, teriyaki mayonnaise, cucumber and puffed rice with seaweed. It was the best cooked tuna that I ever tried. It was so tender and melting on my tongue. 5. Next was perfectly cooked Duck with cherries. I absolutely loved duck, it was cooked to perfection!!! 6. Pre dessert strawberry basil puree to refresh tasting buds and prepare for the dessert. 7. Vanilla cheesecake with apricot and carrot sorbet with prune compote. 8. And complementary truffle selection from Chef to congratulate us with our anniversary. Absolutely best anniversary meal. I also loved that service here was very open and nice. It was my first Michelin star experience and I didn't felt any snobbism, like in other restaurants in Milan for example. Nice presentation, and all dishes were properly described in English for us which is additional plus since my husband doesn't speak Italian. Absolutely worth the trip!"
