abbiamo soggiornato con un groupon in questo storico locale; posizione arredata come regola d'arte, servizio impeccabile e piatti deliziosi e di qualità, un posto bellissimo per celebrare un evento o un'occasione speciale.

La ricostruzione medievale crea un ambiente particolare, romantico e misterioso. Tutti i piatti ricchi di sapori e storia, preparati con arte e presentati con saggezza dal cuoco romano. Un ristorante magico con eventi speciali come il torneo di spade e l'ora delle ombre. Da non perdere.

La proposta è molto originale. Ti trovi immerso un un contesto medioevale. Si ha anche la possibilità di mangiare dei piatti dell'epoca. Particolarmente interessante anche la possibilità di bere all'interno di corni o calici molto decorati. Insomma la formula è molto carina. The overall idea is nice, Medieval style and Medieval food. However, it seemed to me to be so only on the card and decoration. Service is super annoyed all the time, and sometimes you need to wait long. Beers is average, I did not try many crafts though. Food ok, even though below average in mt eyes. Some of the people I was with took meet and this was a bit better, I tried also pizza, and this was a no go.

Un amico mi ha consigliato Avalon e l'ho visitato ieri prima dell'orario della cena a causa di un viaggio. Il personale era molto cordiale ed efficiente e il cibo che ho ordinato, un'opzione vegetariana, era delizioso e accompagnato da un ottimo vino rosso. Ho anche acquistato uno dei souvenir medievali che vendono e sono rimasto molto soddisfatto della mia visita. Posso capire perché questo ristorante e bar medievale è così popolare e lo consiglio vivamente.

Non vedevamo l'ora di questo pasto e che grande delusione. Siamo arrivati alle 6.30 e non era ancora pronto. L'ospite non sapeva veramente parlare inglese. È stato difficile ottenere ciò che volevamo, abbiamo provato alcune bevande che avevano tutte lo stesso sapore della birra. Il mix grill di carne era grasso e aveva un sapore d'aglio, nonostante avessimo detto di non volere aglio. La carne era secca. Sono stata per la prima volta volta in questo locale con degli amici che sono dei clienti abituali. Sono rimasta piacevolmente colpita dall atmosfera, sembra davvero di essere nel medioevo, locale molto bello e caratteristico personale cortese e simpatico. Abbiamo preso un ottimo antipasto con fritti e affettati, fritti particolare e davvero ottimi. Una grigliata di carne servita nella spada davvero molto buona. Buono anche il dolce fatto in casa. Forse un tantino caro ma ci sta essendo un ambiente particolare. Un posticino davvero carino per trascorrere una serata un po' fuori dall'ordinario.

Inspired to a medieval tavern the Avalon looks great but that's it... Food: we have tried an Appetizer with mixed fried mozzarella, sausages, and ham. 5/10 (10€ The OVERPRICED platter with meats and oven potatoes was fine, but terribly average. The potatoes were salty, incredibly salty. It's enough for two people but nothing special. 6/10 (28€ On their website the platter goes for 20€ though... Drinks: they offer a vast selection of drinks and special beers and cocktails but you can't really charge 12€ for a 250ml drink just because the mug is decorated. We loved this place, mostly for the atmosphere and theme! Would be even more amazing if they did some entertainment we did something in Prague similar that had entertainment). The starter was not good though, we shared a starter that had chilli cheese bites etc that were clearly just fried frozen bought but it was cheap so can’t complain) the main however was awesome! I can’t remember the name but it was basically mixed grill meat on a sword!!! So delicious, we asked for it with fries instead of baked potato which they happily did for us. Didn’t enjoy the wine wasn’t as nice as other house wine we tried in Rome) but again it was cheap so didn’t expect much. It’s not as central as we thought... Visualizza piatti
