Nous avons pris le menu ardoise: excellent. Des produits frais, une présentation recherchée. Le service très souriant, précis et rapide. Le genre de restaurant où j'aime aller.

A little bit special, the sort of meal which you only get in France. Prawns and Welks with mayonnaise followed by pork fillet, all beautifully presented and served on tablecloths. Good wine and a view over the river,all for a very reasonable price.

Les plats traditionnelles sont bons, et le rapport qualité prix très correcte. MAIS le service est déplorable.Les commandes ne sont pas prises dans l'ordre d arrivée. Lors de la commande, j'ai demandé une bière pression et une carafe d'eau. Après relance, la bière est arrivée après l'entrée et la carafe d'eau après le plat. Dommage car la nourriture est bonne et parfaite pour une soirée étape professionnelle

We had planned to eat lunch at La Normandie, a hotel just next to the Normotel. But that restaurant was not open that day for some reason, so La Marine was a great plan b. The room is very comfortable, and we were surrounded by...local folks it seemed. The starter was the one weak part of the meal a shrimp salad that was made with what appeared to be small canned shrimp. The main course chicken leg with a rich brown sauce, roasted potatoes and ratatouille was great. And the lemon sorbet we had for dessert was also very nice. A good value as I recall as well.

Un désorganisation totale du style : j'amène 2 kirs normands et oublie les 2 mise en bouche. Je débarrasse 1 seul verre vide et pas l'autre,Quant au menu : repas grossier sorte de tacos froid taillé en rondelles, bavette d'aloyau à mon avis pas suffisamment saisie et le pompon tarte aux pommes accompagnée d'une boule de glace : pommes crues glace fondue à manger avec une fourchette

This hotel restaurant has been newly decorated and feels cool, relaxing and luxurious as you enter. It was spotlessly clean, although there were a few troublesome flies around. The service was faultless, making you feel special and respected, without being obsequious. The young waiters both...spoke a little English and were patient with our French. They were more than helpful over my food allergies, explaining the contents of dishes and negotiating alternatives with the chef. The food was imaginative (melon soup with Chantilly! tasty and plentiful. Our two course menu only cost E19 each a real bargain.

On a motorcycle tour through France we booked for an overnight stay in this hotel.
