"First of all, this restaurant is small. Extremely small. "To reach the toilet, you need to squeeze past foreign people, who will need to juggle their plates while you do so"-small. Make sure to place a reservation, especially for Dinner. The Pizza is OK, but not outstanding, the pasta we ate here was insipid. Service was overextended but friendly. The last time we went here (with a group of 8 adults), although we ordered all dishes at once, they were served stretched over a span of 20 minutes resulting in some of us already having finished their dishes before others even got theirs.Since the place is so extremely small, I would not take our little daughter there again. There is no changing table/ sport available, we ended up using one of the benches for this purpose."

Delicious wood oven pizza, best in town. The place is run by a colorful Italian guy. With great wine and nice atmosphere it a great place for a romantic date.

Das ist mit Abstand die beste Pasta und Pizza in Frankfurt. Schmeckt einfach göttlich und die Portionen sind mehr als großzügig!!!Wer einfach mal schnell und lecker die italienische Küche genießen will ist hier genau richtig.

Pizza ist gut, der Rest ist unterirdisch. Das würzen von Pastagerichten wird hier nicht verstanden. Das Ego des Inhabers ist hier das was Gerichte verkauft. Mir ein Rätsel wie dieses Restaurant, was so selten auf hat, überleben kann.

Uns haben die Pizzen in dieser Pizzeria sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Auswahl ist sehr gross, vielleicht ein bisschen zu gross. Die Pizzen sind einfach nur riesig, so dass eine Pizza fast für 2 Personen reicht. Es ist aber auch kein Problem den Rest einzupacken und mitzunehmen.

Die Pizza hat einen super Teig im Holzofen gebacken. Sie sind sogar fast zu groß. Gute Auswahl mit Mozzarella di Buffalo. Leider ist dann etwas zu viel Rauke auf der letzten Pizza auf der Liste.Weniger wäre mehr;-)Leider scheint das Tiramisu nicht selbst gemacht; immer mehr italienische Restaurants in Frankfurt präsentieren das gleiche industrielle Tiramisu :-(

Ohne Frage gibt es im "La Vela" sehr leckere Pizza und Pasta. Der Service jedoch ist ein Desaster. Wie kann es sein, dass Getränke erst nach dem Hauptgang serviert werde, Bestellungen ganz vergessen werden oder wenn der bestellte Wein aus ist, dem Gast einfach ohne Info ein teurerer serviert und auch berechnet wird? Schade, aus der Küche könnte man deutlich mehr machen, wir meiden es aber nach der letzten Servicewüsten Erfahrung.
