"Delicious good bourgeois food! We had a cream roast and the Franconian sour roast the plates were a little sweetly dressed, but tastefully the food was great. The supplement salad was also very delicious. The service was friendly, though somewhat stressed. It would be more sensible to use someone behind the counter even more to plan out, then take some time when the restaurant is full. There is the possibility to sit outside. You're just sitting right on the street and it's a bit loud. Nevertheless, we were very satisfied!"

We came in for a late lunch and the menu was quite restricted, however we had Bratwurst and Rahmbraten and they were good. The service was ok and the prices were reasonable.

Very hungry after a great and long day at Rothenburg, we found this little local with traditional German cuisine. Very good. Friendly and accommodating service with a good menu. We had a great dinner.

A little expensive and the selection is very low. There are about 5 different types of pork roasts, but not really much more. It was good for everyone. The atmosphere is suitable for what is expected in the name of the restaurant. However, the service was very friendly and also nice to my foreign companions, who cannot be as good German. All in all solid 4 stars.
