L'angoletto - Menu

We ate at this restaurant on our last night with my sister and her boyfriend. We ate outside and had a lovely time. Food and wine was all amazing. The service was great. It is in a nice little Piazza and is tucked away and quiet. Made for a wonderful evening.

Onestamente la migliore pasta che abbia mai mangiato è stata la fettuccine con funghi e gamberi. Fatta con questa salsa che posso ancora gustare adesso! Mio marito ha preso una pizza che era davvero buona anche noi abbiamo preso la bruschetta come antipasto per soli €2! Un piccolo gioiello nascosto!

We were sent to this restaurant by a friend who had been there several times. When the cab driver dropped us off we had to walk down a darker street where it opened to a square. At first we were nervous about it but everything was fine. The staff was very nice and service was prompt. Food was FANTASTIC!

My wife and I had dinner at L"Angoletto while on vacation in Rome. My sea bass was mushy and tasteless. I complained to the waiter and suggested it was frozen fish. He brought out a fresh sea bass to show me they used fresh fish. I guess they have some fresh fish to show customers but what I received on my plate was either frozen fish or very poorly cooked. With all the other great restaurants in Rome why would anyone go here.

This restaurant came recommended to us by our hotel staff. We had reservations for an 8:30 dinner and arrived on time. It was a lovely evening and we opted to eat outside. We asked the server what the gluten free options were for dinner. Unprovoked, the waiter SCREAMED in a very angry voice a list of gluten free pasta shapes. We were so embarrassed that all of the other people dining outside were turning around staring at us. It was at that moment, we decided to leave and take our business elsewhere (there are many other dining options near the Pantheon). We had a wonderful meal at a nearby restaurant.

Che serata deliziosa! Domenico è stato un vero padrone di casa e ci ha servito la cena più deliziosa che potessimo desiderare... Abbiamo mangiato così tanto che a malapena riuscivamo a muoverci quando siamo usciti! Abbiamo condiviso un raviolo di spinaci e un'insalata caprese per iniziare, poi abbiamo preso l'osso buco e lo scaloppini di vitello come piatti principali. Il vino è stato raccomandato da Domenico ed è stato favoloso. Troppo pieni per il dessert, abbiamo preso del limoncello e un piccolo piatto di biscotti offerti dalla casa. Torneremo sicuramente qui quando torneremo a Roma un'altra volta. Delizioso!

We didn't have a reservation for a Saturday night in Rome and were hoping to find just the spot as this. Tucked into a off main little piazza, outdoor dining and not very busy. The menu was the best of both worlds with fish dishes, meat and pasta. We started with the eggplant mozzarella starter which was tender and perfectly sauced, it came with house made foccasa bread. We had the black truffle spaghetti and Osso bucco which were both perfectly plated and amazing. Pasta was cooked al dente and the right amount of sauce to keep the noodles covered. Osso bucco was for tender with a delicate sauce on the side. The waitstaff was super attentive but not hovering and they let us enjoy our bottle...

Ate at this place last time we were in Rome , one of the waiters even remembered my partner. However the guy that was left to attend to us had all the charm of a retired prison officer. On top of that I ordered the beef dish , the portion was so small it was hardly befitting a starter. If you look at my older reviews I gave this place a good review. In fact last time we ate here more than once . Not this time. One visit was plenty. There was also the tourist trap bread and water on the table , there goes 8 Euro before the kickoff. Also my partner asked for a glass of wine but was given a bottle not being one to complain we said nothing. I prefer up front honesty and this was deficient here....

Appena posso descrivere quanto è stato il nostro pranzo all'Angoletto. Sono andata lì un martedì di luglio con alcuni colleghi per festeggiare l'ultimo giorno di lavoro di un collega, ma si è trasformato in un INCUBO. Il cameriere, un uomo romano di 61 anni che credeva di poter dire e fare tutto ciò che voleva, ha iniziato fin dall'inizio del pranzo a prendere in giro me e il mio corpo. Quando un'altra collega ha ordinato un vino secco, si è rivolto a me dicendo che avrebbe portato un vino secco speciale, che in italiano significa magro "come la mia collega, e non come me o l'altro ragazzo", da lui definito come non così secco e nemmeno così magro. Io, ragazza di 26 anni e corporatura media,...
