"Made an order to new lantern in Maidstone through Deliveroo, after thinking about trying somewhere new to our usual to try something different what a mistake! First the Diet Pepsi 1.5L bottle I ordered wasn’t even delivered…I put a note on Deliveroo to please leave the onions out of the duck chow mein and it arrived with HEAPS of onions…lastly, the duck chow mein didn’t even have duck in it, it was beef chunks!! I called up to ask about the missing Diet Pepsi and was told they had none so they just left it out the order and didn’t deliver it at all and when I said about the note I put about the onions, the lady told me that they didn’t get it their side…end of convo, not even an offer to change it, considering it wasn’t my fault if Deliveroo didn’t pass it through. One positive is that the lady did offer to drop off the drink and asked if I’d like a different choice, but it would have been nice to actually have the right food order in the first place. The food was mediocre and disappointing that the meat wasn’t even right. I think we’ll be sticking to Chopsticks going forward."

Really good food. Nice and fresh. Staff helpful on the phone when ordering as I have a nut allergy. We ordered on a Friday night so delivery did take an hour but that was expected.

Ordered another takeaway via Uber. Arrived on time and food was hot and tasty. Efficient service from these guys... our 3rd order and I have no hesitation in recommending New Lantern.

Went for the first time last week. The staff were very friendly and it’s good food. We went to collect and as situated on a main road, so can be difficult to park. Quite a few delivery drivers, so that seemed like a good sign. Will be coming back.

Please stay away from this Chinese. My disabled daughter support worker just went there to Oder dinner, the staff member who served her was so rude, showed no empathy for people with disabilities. My daughter left in tears without her order. Will definitely not recommend. Go elsewhere for better service! You should be ashamed of yourself!
