Despite having a confirmed booking via email and verifying the opening hours on the website, the restaurant was closed when I arrived. As an 8-month-pregnant woman with limited time for tea, it really put a damper on my evening.

Despite having a confirmed reservation via email and checking the opening hours on the website, I found the restaurant closed upon my arrival. As I am eight months pregnant and on a tight schedule, this turned out to be quite an unfortunate evening.

Really enjoyed the Geordie tapas dishes. My friend and I shared the mini Yorkshire puddings with braised beef and gravy, panhaggerty and triple cooked chips. The food was spot on, delicious and tasty. Will definitely return and order more dishes next time. Visualizza piatti

Something new and different on offer, never had Geordie Tapas before, but thoroughly enjoyed them they were good! Quirky surroundings, with a nice relaxed and friendly atmosphere, and helpful staff. Went upstairs for the Comedy Club, which was really entertaining, and then finished off in the lounge with a great singer. All round very good night out.

this little place will be a great place for live actions. it only needs some tlc that I am sure the owners work. the restaurant area would be massively improved by simply shutting down the bright lighting and creating a more intimate atmosphere with more feenlighter (and the fitness most places that have a low lighting would look pretty bad in bright light) the personal was extraordinarily welcoming and obligated, and I really hope they make a success out of it. whitley bay needs more different places for everyone to frequent. it will again be a great place for an evening out without it again in the glorious days of south parade.

This charming little spot has great potential as a venue for live performances. It just needs some tender loving care, which I’m sure the owners are planning to implement. The restaurant area would greatly benefit from dimming the bright lights and incorporating more fairy lights to create a cozier atmosphere; this would also help to disguise the wear and tear that can be more noticeable under harsh lighting. The staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, and I genuinely hope they find success. Whitley Bay could use more diverse dining options for everyone to enjoy.
