"bois joly has been a favorite for years. we love to eat on the terrace at sunset, a cool rosé on simple, tasty well made eat. views of the alps are stunning, service is efficient. children are welcome. they even have a playground of their...own bois joly – over the years – served us mercilessly, even after the kitchen was closed. didier – one of the three siblings who own the place – would always find something, either a meat fondue (bourguignonne) or cheese fondue (savoyard) with a bottle of wine. this kind of greeting is so rare, it is worth mentioning."

We were visiting the area and wanted to try local food. We ordered fera from Geneva lake for our first meal in the restaurant: it was dry, overcooked and obviously frozen... The polenta accompanying the dish was also very dry, when the waiter told us...potatoes were served...
