We had a great evenings dining at this restaurant and enjoyed good food and ambience in this very busy place by the port. Service was great.

Lunch on a Friday noon for two, very pleasant waiters with little jokes. Fish&Chips excellent puffed effect rather than breaded, and really really delicious gourmet coffee! Perfect

Des moules toutes petites, trop salées - c'est tout simplement honteux de pouvoir servir ça. Les frites industrielles qui nous ont été servies étaient froides. Le service n'est même pas agréable.

A nice little restaurant, prices within standards, the mussels and fries were excellent. Despite the crowd we didn't wait too long, friendly and efficient staff, fast service without rushing us, in short I recommend this very nice restaurant.

Un peu refroidi par les avis précédents avant de nous y installer. Finalement agréablement surpris. Le repas ainsi que le service étaient sans reproche. Le personnel agréable et à l écoute des clients. Très bon rapport qualité prix avec beaucoup de plats faits maison. Je recommandé sans hesitation

Le cadre est très sympa, très bonne situation (Vieux port).Personnel agréable et rapide malgré le monde Très bonne carte, les moules à la crème de langoustine sont excellentes mais les crevettes à la plancha (en entrée) sont un peu trop chères étant donné qu'il y a seulement 4 crevettes dans l'assiette et qui sont même pas décortiquées. Mais dans l'ensemble le rapport qualité-prix est correct.

Met a couple of friends near the Old Port in La Rochelle. On the front, where all the stands are, next to the harbour, there are a whole host of restaurants. Previously, we have found that if you are a little late then the restaurants won't entertain late comers. We had a pleasant experience at Le Canard, who found us a table a 2.50pm on a Wednesday afternoon. La R was packed, being mid August and we wern't expecting a great meal. My wife and I ordered the cheapest thing on the menu, the Cesar Salad and it was great. Loads of chicken, loads of salad and all nicely seasoned with a great sauce. Staff were great too, especially the older waitor who seemed to be enjoying his job. Coulldn't have...
