"A French friend took us here for lunch on the hottest day of the Summer so far! Sat outside on shaded veranda in pretty garden.Delicious smoked salmon, jacket potato with creme fraiche and dill served with side salad. Too hot for wine, so soft drinks all round and refreshing carafe of ice cold water."

"Superb atmosphere, in this restaurant with medieval appearance (beams, stone walls, etc). We found the dishes very tasty but light disappointment on the redesigned lemon pie that looks more like a crumble than a real pie. Kitchen between gastro and bistro, accessible. Quick and friendly service"

"We wanted to try Cherbourg's Michelin starred restaurant, and came on a Saturday night where we enjoyed a very fine meal in a setting that deserved its star. The restaurant was fairly busy but we still enjoyed very attentive service, if not too attentive: staff kept trying to refill my partner's wine glass even though we'd repeatedly explained that he was driving and so couldn't drink any more. The food was wonderful. The amuse bouche of carrot soup and Parmesan and ham biscuits had great flavours. The bread was perfect. Meanwhile the entrée, warmed scallops on a bed of mashed potatoes with nuts and foie gras was sublime, not only were the flavours beautiful, but the textures just made it better. I enjoyed the main a little less, as the just cooked bream was a little too on the uncooked side for me, the cauliflower flavours were great though. The cheesecake dessert was rich and delicious as well. My partner enjoyed the poultry and the almond tart. Prices were very reasonable for the quality and the restaurant itself was very aesthetic."

"The highest attention to detail. Excellence in quality of food, attention to a balanced taste in every dish, good presentation and service. Real authenticity. Loved the ancient wooden beams, lighting fireplace, and design. And the waiters helped without any hesitation in explaining the whole menu in English even though it's also translated in English. Moreover, no pushiness despite having a tired baby. They were kindly helpful throughout the whole experience."

"Super restaurant with a very pleasant room, especially in the garden. The kitchen is excellent, the products are very fresh and of very good quality, especially the beef which is ultra soft (we have tried the tartare and the net . I think (squatting) that everything is done at home or carefully selected; We had a lot of fun. the in-room team was welcoming, attentive and practical, especially with regard to our food intolerances (gluten, dairy products, legumes). the feeling went less well with one of the servers, but we don't have a reproach to do it. We were served quickly. The bathrooms were clean, nothing to say. We'll be happy when we get back to Cherburg! vegetarian options: several possible entries and dishes for vegetarians, such as ring waves, vegetarian burgers. Small conviviality: good reception, child menu, high chair. food restrictions: my children eat gluten-free, milk-free and leguminous, and we were able to find them a full meal."
