"Took a deliberate excursion to this restaurant between canal st martin and belleville because of a food book on paris recommending the street and the restaurant .unfortunately the street was a complete wash out and when i found the restaurant had changed hands from the previous much admired chef obviously was apprehensive .But needn't have been .Julien Simonet who moved in two years ago is a young chef with outstanding talent . There was a very limited menu ...two choices only each course but that is probably sensible for such a small enterprise and proved no problem when the dishes were so innovative and beautifully cooked. Lunch was a succulent sliver of veal tongue tempura : a smallish but perfectly sized tranche of entrecote ,great meat and on the money cooked ,with a jus of chive oil ,a small puree of barbecue sauce and some pureed jerusalem artichoke : and an ice cream flavoured with celeriac and a cinammon crumble .Who knew ! Service was prompt and very pleasant .Price just about right for the offering Highly recommended"

second place of the emblematic duo of street paradise. rarely seen such alchemy between two people of the starsky hut. everything is sseptical, from reception to product quality. Don't hesitate to go for a cocktail, that's what I do right away from my province of Avignon.

Small and cozy bistro with no more than 20 seats which are very close to each other. Only option is gourmet menu with no choice even for children (we went there with one child), but food is really good and taste amazing, at the end even our child enjoyed the menu. I like it very much; only thing the must improve is the isolation/aspiration of the kitchen as later clothes smelt of food.
