"we ate in this restaurant on the recommendations of a hotel and we were not disappointed! the dishes offered were excellent and refined, all with impeccable service. if we have the opportunity to return to the surrounding area we will return to this restaurant without hesitation. Small plus: the price quality ratio was excellent as well (less than 40 euros per person: a soft and a glass of alcohol each. a flat menu and a dessert menu. plus the coffee.)Congratulations to the chef because we were delighted!"

"Every time I’m in the corner, I stop at lunch at dinner at this restaurant where I’ve never had to be disappointed. But this time, the dish was not at the height and I find that in the middle of the season of the Saint-Jacques, they were really very small in the plate with the pasta, it did not prevent me from finishing the plate. "I really come often there. Prices are very low and you will taste the local food and that is the most important, no ? English, german, dutch fellows, you can enter there without any doubt, I come in La châtre since i'm a child for holydays (got family nearby) and the place is like history. I recommand to eat a large piece of sirloin with fries with a nice bottle of wine. Dont expect a four star service, this is a family restaurant. Bistro cuisine !!! If you are vegetarian, don't come, it's a nonsense..."

"Tres tres mal et pas un bonne address , le pizza pas bien fait , mon mari peut pas le manger, et le chevre presque impossible de manger a cause de le tros gros paves de pain et bien trop cher pour le prix 10,50e We have lived un this region for over 17 years and eaten out regularly, including this place but never again . This pizzeria served up a wood fired thin crust Napolitana with the base of a soggy bottom that tasted disgusting with uncooked leathery dough. The cheapest cheese for a topping so overloaded and rubbery you could use it for glue topped with olives that were from the cheapest tin supermarket rubbish you could buy. For 10,50 for a salade de chevre chaud I was expecting ting something edible and fulfilling , however it was a bit of lettuce, undercooked lardons and cheap shop bought croutons . The two bits of chevre was served half cooked on two bricks of bread . You are paying 10,50e for 2 bricks of bread, a bit of cheese and some lettuce and it is the worst chevre chaud I have ever tasted and after 17 years here that is saying something. The boss was too scared to come over and listen , instead he cowardly let our very sweet waitress deal with our complaint and when I did confront him he was totally unapologetic and then very rude when I told him the food was not only inedible but also overpriced."

"barely looking at the map that the door was opened on the overlying boss who installed us and not released by knocking us down with the detail of the dish of the day and local specialties. I think she thought we didn't know how to read a menu or we were lost tourists. I think she's still waiting for the 8-person (short) tab that prevented her from placing us near the window......We should have mistrusted the restaurants that offer you traditional dishes, pancakes and pizzas can't do everything well and this one in particular has done nothing good; The half-sel ham (speciality) is not yet digested 3 hours later, the pizza was precooked with just the ham of added country (for the proscuitto (among) you will come back next week and the groaning pancake (single) was swimming in the cream (I thought the fresh cream was rather the Normandy with a generous salad to dessert"
